A report of a strange phone call at 11:15 a.m. Friday on Marion Road. A caller reported she got a call regarding her child being dismissed from school. She called the Village School and confirmed her daughter was at the school and told school officials she is not to be dismissed or released by the school.
A caller was concerned there was a “heavy guy” skating on the pond and was nervous about it at 1:16 p.m. Friday on Pond Street.
A caller reported the neighbor had a worker on her property and the worker verbally accosted her at 12:03 p.m. Saturday on West Shore Drive. She said she is a single woman and should not be treated this way. The caller later told police her neighbor’s workmen verbally swore at her on her property and that she was “on the fence” about whether to have an officer come or not. She said she was afraid an officer may make it worse and was fearful the neighbor would retaliate.

Griffin, 56, of 10 Bowditch Ave., was summoned for leaving the scene of property damage; at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at 297 Lynn St.
A report of a neighborhood dispute at 11:46 a.m. Saturday at 133 Lowell St. A caller reported her neighbor was harassing her and her 3-year-old son. Police reported a tenant dispute with the caller’s neighbor reporting the 3-year-old was making too much noise.
A report of suspicious activity at 2:47 p.m. Saturday at 124 Foster St. A resident was concerned about a knife that was inside a locked box where the rent check goes. Police confirmed there was a kitchen knife and a pair of reading glasses inside the box and told the resident to contact the landlord about the issue; at 7:46 p.m. Saturday on Avalon Drive. A caller reported she heard a car door slam and when she looked up, she noticed a man wearing a hoodie running away from the parking lot. Police reported seeing nothing suspicious

A report of a disturbance at 12:02 a.m. Sunday at 78 Endicott St. A caller reported a loud guitar on the third floor. Police reported the house appeared to be in darkness and there was no noise upon their response
An employee reported people on the ice and felt the ice was unsafe at 12:37 p.m. Sunday at Gaeta’s Shell & Citgo at 14 Newbury St. Police reported there were a couple of guys ice fishing and there didn’t appear to be a problem.
A report of a structure fire at 7:09 p.m. Saturday at 31 Trask Road. A house fire with the structure fully engulfed with flames was reported. All of the residents were able to get out of the house prior to police arrival. The fire department was able to knock down the blaze.

A former resident reported he hired a moving company to bring his possessions to Beverly and some of the items did not make it to his new residence; at 2:57 p.m. Sunday at Alliance Health at Rosewood at 22 Johnson St. An employee reported her phone was stolen and the suspect was still on scene. An officer reported the caller had possession of her phone already upon response.
