A caller, at 7:57 a.m. on Thursday, asked about a tow letter she had sent in last year and related an ongoing parking problem she is having in the lot on Spring Street. She stated a man continues to park there and he told her he can park anywhere he wanted and dismissed her request to leave the spot.
A caller reported a girl, about 10 or 11 years old, standing on West Shore Drive opposite Tower School at 9 a.m. on Thursday. They stated the girl was pacing back and forth and seemed lost or confused for almost 10 minutes. Dispatch advised the caller to watch the girl until officers arrived but they stated they turned around and the girl was gone. Responding officers were unable to locate the described girl.
A caller reported a 2-year-old locked in a silver BMW on Pleasant Street at 10:38 a.m. on Thursday. At 10:58 a.m., entry was made by responding officers and the child was OK.
A caller reported at 3:17 p.m. on Thursday that he read a Facebook post about suspicious people in yellow vests in the area. He stated he saw a male in a yellow vest walking behind his home. He exited his home and went after the male, who was then going back around the home. Responding officers spoke with the calling party and figured out the suspicious male was just delivering a package.
