Pedro Rodriguez, 36, of  887 Western Ave., Apt. 1,  Lynn, was summoned following a traffic stop at Salem Street and Lookout Terrace on Friday at 7:34 p.m. for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Caller reports a fire alarm is sounding at Heather Drive on Friday at 11:33 a.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Caller from 1135 Main St. reports that her neighbor’s back door has been open since 3 p.m. on Friday at 5:20 p.m. Officer reports entry was made into the home and the door was secured, no other issues.

Alarm Co. reports an alarm at 15 Ramsdell Way on Friday at 6:01 p.m. Officer checked the area, nothing to report.

Alarm company reported fire alarm at Gaslight Restaurant at 1100 Market St. on Saturday at 12:38 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Office motion detector sounded at Huckleberry Hill School at 5 Knoll Road on Sunday at 5:50 a.m. Officer reports all is secure.

Accidental burglar alarm at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Sunday at 10:33 a.m.


Assault reported at UPS on Kimball Lane on Friday at 12:44 p.m.

Caller reported a loud party at Ashley Court on Saturday at midnight. Officer reports guests were leaving as the party is over.

Property check requested at 511 Walnut St. at 199 Salem St. on Saturday at 5:39 a.m.

Suspicious person reported at the Christmas Tree Shop at 28 South Broadway on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. Caller said a homeless man sleeping in south doorway. Officer was unable to locate anyone.

Caller reports kids throwing ice at passing cars on Saturday at 7:28 p.m. at 11 Island Road at 618 Summer St. Officer checked the area and unable to locate anyone.

Medical Aid

Ambulance requested from 1 Stoneway on Friday at 6:14 p.m. Officer reports patient taken to the hospital.

Medical aid requested at 311 Ross Drive on Saturday at 7:12 a.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.



A person walked into the police station at 11:18 a.m. Sunday to report the gate to Devereux Beach is supposed to be closed and the wind has blown it open. Two SUVs pulled into the parking lot and they were not supposed to be there.

A caller reported an ongoing issue with a man who owns an older, antique car at 5:29 p.m. Sunday on Atlantic Avenue. The man would reportedly start the car and “idle it for 25 to 30 minutes.” The caller said he had asked the man not to do that, but he was “rude” and “doesn’t seem to care.” While on the phone, he said the man drove off.



John A. Deveau, 39, of 5R Margin St. Court, was summoned on Thursday at 6:05 p.m. for a threat to commit a crime.


Two-car motor vehicle crash reported on Thursday at 5:32 p.m. at Auto Mall at 218 Andover St. Officer reports no injuries and vehicles pulled to parking lot across the street from BMW of Peabody. Owner waiting for tow.

Car off the road reported at the Lakeside School at 629 Lowell St. on Thursday at 6:05 p.m. Officer reports party taken to the North Shore Medical Center. Vehicle towed by Gaeta’s Tow.

Hit and run crash reported at 2 King St. at 136 Lowell St. on Friday at 6:05 a.m. Officer reports arrest will be sought for Justen J. Parsons, 41, and charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Officer reports he did not answer the door at his home.

Report of a motor vehicle crash involving a small school bus on Friday at 7:11 a.m. at 766 Lowell St. Officer reports all parties refused medical treatment.

Two-car crash with no injuries reported on Friday at 7:40 a.m. at Peabody District Court at 1 Lowell St. Officer will document, no tows.

Hit and run motor vehicle crash reported on Friday at 9:01 a.m. at Dunkin’ Donuts at 3 Central St. Officer reports victim will have her car looked over and if any damage.

Motor vehicle crash reported at Jiffy Lube at 230 Andover St. on Friday at 12:04 p.m. Officer reports no injuries or tows.

Animal Control

Peabody Housing Authority at 75 Central St. called to request information on service animals on Thursday at 3:03 p.m. They were advised to go to the Americans with a Disability for further information.

Coolidge Avenue resident reported his gray, male schnauzer has been missing for six hours on Thursday at 6:05 p.m.

On Friday at 10:21 a.m. caller from 519 Concord St. confirmed her dog, Nyla, was the animal involved in the incident on 12 Olsen Road, on Dec. 29. The Holliston resident also confirmed she was visiting her brother that day. Officer advised her to contact the Holliston Animal Control Officer.

Caller from 26 Ravenwood Road left a voicemail message on Friday at 11:25 a.m. stating he is having issues with his neighbor allowing her dog to be off leash and use neighborhood yards as its toilet. No answer on callback, left message. Officer reports a notice of complaint has been sent to Pam Katsiris, 26 Ravenwood Road. She has been warned about these laws in the recent past. Copies of the leash law and waste removal law will be included in the warning. Lily, the yellow Lab, is licensed and vaccinated against rabies.


Tenant from Tannery II apartments at 12 Crowninshield, Apt. 302, called to say his girlfriend took his medical patches on Thursday at 3:15 p.m. Officer reports all was in order, girlfriend is in charge of giving the medicine.

Disabled vehicle reported on Thursday at 4:35 p.m. at 192 Lowell St. at 1 Columbia Road. Officer reports vehicle is off to the side of the road and not impeding traffic. Assistance is en route.

Resident of Ellsworth Road reported a vehicle is parked on the sidewalk on Thursday at 4:37 p.m. and was obstructing garage access. Officer reports contact made with owner and vehicle was moved.

Resident of Winona Street came to the police station on Thursday at 6:05 p.m. to report he had been threatened by his girlfriend’s father, John Deveau. See summons of Deveau.

Suspicious black motor vehicle reported on Thursday at 6:59 p.m. that has been on Aspen Lane for two hours. Officer reports he could not locate vehicle.

Report of a large pothole at Huntington Woods Condominiums on Lake Street on Thursday at 7:04 p.m. that has damaged five vehicles. Officer reports the Department of Public Works has supplied a barrel and cones.

Report of a street sign down at Pioneer House at 2 Washington St. on Thursday at 7:24 p.m. The Department of Public Works notified.

Resident of 52 Warren St., Apt. 8, reports car covered in silly string on Thursday at 8:56 p.m. Reporting party called back to say he was able to clean his vehicle with no damage and no longer wants to speak with an officer. The officer spoke with party and all is OK.

Caller reported wallet with $350 in cash was stolen at the Knights of Columbus at 96 Main St. on Thursday at 9:54 p.m. Officer will document.

Northshore Mall security report of party attempting to break into vehicles at Not Your Average Joe’s on Thursday at 10:07 p.m. Officer reports party lost her keys in the mall and will call her own tow.

Party reported passed out in a motor vehicle on Friday at 12:56 a.m. at Anytime Fitness at 2 First Ave. Officer reports party was napping and waiting for the gym to open.

Caller reported an erratic driver on Route 128 South on Friday at 3:13 a.m. Call transferred to the Massachusetts State Police.

Pothole reported at 93 Walnut St. and 29 Howley St. on Friday at 6:44 a.m. The Department of Public Works has been notified.

Tree branch hanging on a wire reported at 17 Bow St. The Department of Public Works was notified on Friday at 8:57 a.m.

Resident of Mac’s Park at 176 Newbury St., Apt. 12, reported on Friday at 1:36 p.m. that someone is entering her home in the middle of the night and when she is not home and cutting holes in her clothes and stealing her mail.  

Well-being check requested by a caller about a man who was yelling and throwing things on Abington Avenue on Thursday at 3:38 p.m. Officer reports all was in order.
