A caller reported arcing wires on Tedesco Street at 11:44 a.m. on Thursday. They stated it was near the sub station in the area, possibly up on a pole. It was reported at 11:56 a.m. that a transformer was smoking.
A caller reported a 6-year-old fled a school building on Turner Road at 1:02 p.m. on Thursday. By 1:13 p.m. the child was back in school.
A caller reported at 4:03 p.m. on Thursday that his parents have been receiving scam calls asking for $5,000. He was advised to tell them not to give out any information.
A caller reported a water issue on West Shore Drive at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers stated it may have been a town issue with sewer possibly coming through the toilets from the street. The sewer department was notified and they responded to assist with manhole cover removals.

Marilu Martinez, 40, of 33 Cottage St., Apt. 2R, Lynn, was arrested on Wednesday at 8:32 p.m. following a traffic stop at Sullivan Tire & Auto Service at 175 Washington St. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Owner of a mini schnauzer named Rocky reports the dog escaped his home at 31 Coolidge Ave. on Thursday at 2 p.m. and cannot be located. Rocky was last seen near Coolidge Avenue at noon. He is not wearing a collar but is licensed and microchipped.
