Accidental burglar alarm on Sunday at 1:47 p.m. at 8 Hunting Lane. Officer confirmed it was an accident.

Alarm company called in a fire alarm activation on Monday at 2:56 p.m. at 7 Longbow Road. Lynnfield Fire Department checked the exterior, no one at home, alarm still sounding.

Boiler room and basement motion detector sounded at 1 Skinner Lane on Monday at 3:47 p.m. Officer reports alarm company called to cancel.

Burglar alarm sounded in the boys’ gym at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. on Monday at 4:02 p.m.

False burglar alarm reported at 33 Daventry Court on Monday at 4:53 p.m. Officer reports all appears to be in order.

Caller reports her chocolate Lab named Bruno escaped her home at 8 Willowdale Drive on Saturday at 7:52 p.m. She said he is wearing a yellow collar. Officer reports Animal Control officer is unavailable. Dog found on Horseshoe Drive and will be returned to the owner.

Abandoned vehicle reported on Hilltop Road on Friday at 9:21 a.m. Officer reports vehicle is legally parked, it has a flat tire and a note was left on the windshield.

Caller reports people skating on Pillings Pond and he is concerned ice may not be thick enough on Friday at 4:15 p.m. Officer reports skaters are done for the day and have been advised that pond is unsafe.

Property check requested at 505 Main St. on Saturday at 1:29 a.m. Officer reports all is OK. Parking lot lights were never turned off.

Caller reports a violent, intoxicated woman at 4 Greenmeadow Drive on Saturday at 3:30 a.m. Officer reports patient taken to the hospital.

Report of a motor vehicle without a license plate is parked on Grove Street on Saturday at 10:38 a.m. Officer reports plate is in the rear window.

Report of a pickup truck parked on Lakeview Drive during the parking ban on Sunday at 11:22 p.m. Officer spoke with owner who said he will move the vehicle to the yard.

Complaints

A caller reported he was driving on Creesy Street and noticed the basement apartment window was broken out at 9:31 a.m. on Monday. He was concerned about the resident and thought someone may have broken into the building. Responding officers found the shade appeared to be torn which made it look like the window was broken.

A caller reported at 9:35 a.m. on Monday that the back door to the church on Atlantic Avenue was open. She stated she was concerned as it was open for five minutes. She called back at 9:40 a.m. and stated the door was closed and there is no longer an issue.

A caller reported a sheet of ice on Gerry Street at 4:10 p.m. on Monday. They stated a car was stuck on the hill and kept sliding down.

A caller reported at 5:45 p.m. on Monday that his telephone was hacked and anytime someone would call their phone number it stated the phone was disconnected. He stated he would come in to file a report after he spoke with Comcast.

A caller reported a possible drunk driver at Pleasant and School streets at 6:12 p.m. on Monday. They stated the driver was just fired from his job and may be impaired driving a blue Hyundai Elantra.

A caller reported the woman upstairs was not home and there was water pouring through her roof into the caller’s unit on Nicholson Street at 6:53 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported water coming from the ceiling on Creesy Street at 10:29 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported an annoying drumming sound in the area of Devereux Street at 11:08 p.m. on Monday.

A caller reported she passed by a Toyota Rav 4 on West Shore Drive and someone threw an object at her car, striking it at 12:37 a.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated they believed the object was some kind of liquid as it was dripping all over her car.

A caller reported there was a car at the end of her driveway on Waterside Road with its lights on at 4:21 a.m. on Tuesday. They stated the car was there for about 15 minutes but left while they were on the phone with the police dispatcher.

Multiple calls reporting icy conditions on Tedesco and Maple streets at 7:04 a.m. on Tuesday. Dispatch stated the area was treated several times and nothing further could be done.

PEABODY

Arrest

William Wilson, 42, of 2 Main St., was arrested on Friday at 7:01 p.m. at 4 Mill St. after a caller reported she was struck in the face by a man she owes money to and who is trying to strike her son. He was charged with assault and battery to collect a loan, disorderly conduct, and destruction of property over $1,200.

Summons

Melanie Lopresti-Potenza, 42, of 5 Braintree Circle, Brockton, was summoned on Friday at 4:44 p.m. following a traffic stop at Central Street Liquors at 17 Central St. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and equipment violations.

Olga Figueroa, 72, of 16 Warren St., was summoned on Saturday at 8:59 p.m. at 13 Wheeler St. for operating an uninsured motor vehicle with a revoked registration.

Tiago Costa, 30, of 76 Walnut St., was summoned on Sunday at 12:08 a.m. following a traffic stop at 69 Walnut St. at 24 Caller St. for operating a motor vehicle after a license suspension.

Minor motor vehicle crash at Wilson Square Citgo at 2 Andover St. on Friday at 6:32 p.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

One-vehicle crash reported on Saturday at 2:51 a.m. at 498 Lowell St. Officer reports 4-Star Tow en route.

Motor vehicle crash at 12:51 p.m. Saturday on Andover Street. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at Exit 45 on Route 95 South on Saturday at 5:39 p.m. Officer reports operator may have a broken arm. Call handled by the Massachusetts State Police.

Motor vehicle struck a sign at 2 Washington St. at 101 Main St. on Saturday at 5:58 p.m.

Caller reports his motor vehicle was struck while parked on Summer Street and the driver sped away on Sunday at 4:39 p.m. Officer reports there are no suspects.

Animal Control

Caller reported finding a small dog in a vehicle with Massachusetts plate no. 3BZ296 on Saturday at 1:53 p.m. at Macy’s at 210 Andover St. Officer reported animal is conscious and in good health, and no further action needed.

Report from the Hampton Inn on Newbury Street of a dog running in traffic on Dearborn Road on Saturday at 2:40 p.m. Officer reports the animal was located and returned to its owner.

Complaints

Report of a dumpster at 3 Bartholomew St. at 173 Lynn St. on Friday at 5 p.m. Officer spoke to a truck driver for “Call For Junk” who was exchanging dumpsters, is out of the road and will be on his way.

Caller reported erratic driver of a silver Hyundai SUV at 3 Bartholomew St. at 173 Lynn St. on Friday at 7:09 p.m. Officer reports unable to find vehicle.

Employee of Mallia’s Towing at 161 Washington St. requested an officer to check the lot to ensure everything is OK on Friday at 8:25 p.m. because the office received a threatening call from a party who wanted to retrieve his car but was told it was not ready. Officer checked the area and all is OK.

Stop & Shop Supermarket at 19 Howley St. reported a dark blue  Chevrolet Suburban leaking gas in the handicapped spot on Friday at 8:41 p.m. but unable to locate owner. Peabody Fire Department confirmed fuel leak from the gas tank and owner has contacted AAA.

Caller from Newbury Street Inn at 170 Newbury St. reported hearing a woman screaming from room 10 or 11 on Friday at 11:46 p.m. Officer reports the woman was having a loud conversation over the telephone. All is OK.

Loud music and drums reported at 25 Trask Road on Saturday at 1:28 a.m. Officer reports all is quiet.

Caller reported person skating at Cedar Grove Cemetery at 100 Cedar Grove Ave. on Saturday at 9:08 a.m. Officer reported parties were spoken to and sent on their way.

Report of party walking on the ice at Brown’s Pond on Lynn Street on Saturday at 10:48 a.m. Party called back to say person came off the ice at someone else’s insistence.

Caller reported man who appears to be disoriented in a blue Camaro at the 7-Eleven at 23 Newbury St. on Saturday at 11:31 a.m. Officer reports party was taken to Union Hospital, vehicle left in lot.

Money dispute reported on Saturday at 12:05 p.m. at Russ Used Car Sales at 20 Wallis St. Officer advised parties it was a civil action.

Assault in progress at 194 Washington St., Apt. 2 was reported on Saturday at 1:18 p.m. One party was brought home to Bradford Road by the officer who will document.

Report of a party passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at Starbucks at 240 Andover St. on Sunday at 10:10 a.m. Officer reports operator was napping.

Loud noise reported at 36 Keys Drive, Apt. 11, on Sunday at 10:06 p.m. Officer reports residents were watching the Patriots game.

A caller near McDonald’s Restaurant on Route 1 reported he dropped his keys down a storm drain in the parking lot at 7:45 p.m. Friday. The Fire Department retrieved the keys.

A report of young people pulling up to an abandoned property on Fairview Street and walking around the property at 8:09 p.m. Friday.

A report of a suspicious man in the ATM at Eastern Bank on Broadway at 8:25 p.m. Police report the person works for the bank.

A caller reported four young people, all wearing red hoodies, walking on Hamilton Street and knocking over mailboxes and throwing things at passing cars at 10:50 p.m. Friday. Mail boxes at 177, 147, 149, and 143 Hamilton St. were damaged. Police located two parties wearing red hoodies, one a Sachems sweatshirt and the other a Nike sweatshirt.  

A caller at Polcari’s Restaurant reported his car was broken into while he was parked in the lot at 11:50 p.m. Friday. The back window was broken but nothing was missing from the vehicle.

A caller reported a man approached her while leaving work and started harassing her at Oye’s Restaurant at 2:32 a.m. Saturday.

A report of annoying phone calls on Valley Street at 7:20 p.m. Saturday.

A report of vandalism on Linwood Street at 12:48 p.m. Sunday.

A report of gunshots outside a home on High Street at 4:41 p.m. Sunday. The resident reported a small colored SUV pulled up to the residence and fired off three shots at the home. The vehicle then fled the area toward Cliftondale and Adams avenues.

A report of youths in the median of Route 1 crossing from Route 1 North to Route 1 South at 4:49 p.m. Sunday.

A report of a vehicle stuck in a snow bank on Bailey Avenue at 10:17 a.m. Monday.
