Arrests

Amellia Boone, of 27 Oakdale St., Brockton, was arrested on warrant charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and two counts of larceny over $1,200 at 1:12 p.m. on Friday.

Clarence Byers, 68, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 3:37 p.m. on Thursday.

Terrell Dorest, 26, of 81 Adams St., was arrested and charged with armed robbery at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Ryan Murphy was arrested on warrant charges of assault and battery, assault and battery on a retarded person, and assault and battery on a disabled, or over the age of 60, person at 3:48 p.m. on Thursday.

Aaron Mwankuga, of 78 Central Ave., was arrested on a warrant charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 2:13 p.m. on Thursday.

Carlos Perez, 27, of 199 Curwin Circle, was arrested on warrant charges of larceny under $1,200, larceny under $250 by false pretense, receiving stolen property worth less than $1,200, and charged with a default warrant at 10:12 p.m. on Thursday.

Jose Rivera, 53, of 435 Essex St., was arrested on warrant charges of possession to distribute a class drug, distribution of a Class A drug, and a straight warrant charge at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Victor Rivera, 22, of 435 Essex St., was arrested on a warrant charge of possession to distribute cocaine and a straight warrant charge at 10:07 p.m. on Thursday.

Accident

Motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 6:16 p.m. at Condon Circle with personal injury. Report taken and operator taken to the North Shore Medical Center in Salem by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

False Alarms

A 911 hang up received from the Riverside Community Care at 6 Kimball Lane on Thursday at 6:08 p.m. Officer checked with employees who made the call and all is OK.

Accidental panic alarm sounded on Thursday at 10:50 p.m. at 6 Bridle Path. Officer reports resident having a problem with alarm panel.

False burglar alarm at the Lynnfield Middle School at 505 Main St. on Thursday at 10:52 p.m.

False burglar alarm on Friday at 5:05 a.m. at 15 Ramsdell Way, Apt. U-20. Officer reports all is quiet.

Complaints

Caller reported the operator of a white Honda Ridgeline swerving all over the road at Condon Circle and vehicle is headed to Lynn on Thursday at 6:11 p.m. Officer reports Lynn Police Department notified.

Request for a property check at the Huckleberry Hill School at 505 Main St. on Friday at 12:58 a.m. Officer reports all appears in order.

Property check requested for the Summer Street School at 262 Summer St. on Friday at 1:05 a.m. Officer reports all appears in order.

At 1:09 a.m., a request for a property check at Lynnfield High School.  Officer reports all appears in order.

MARBLEHEAD

Arrest

Jeff Steve Nabas, 37, of 56 Dow St., Salem, was arrested on a non-Marblehead warrant charge, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, motor vehicle operator refusing to identify self, and speeding at 9:16 p.m. on Thursday.

Accidents

A caller reported a snapped pole with low wires hanging on Lafayette Street at 12:49 a.m. on Friday. At 1:09 a.m. it was reported that it was a Verizon pole struck by a Ford pickup truck and there was debris all over the road.

Complaints

A caller reported an attempted grandparent scam at 10:49 a.m. on Thursday.

A walk-in reported at 11:44 a.m. on Thursday he thinks he is being followed. He stated he does not know who the person may be and was wondering if the police department had a device that could detect if there was a tracking device in his car. It was suggested he take his car to a mechanic to determine that.

A walk-in reported at 12:47 p.m. on Thursday that she received a call from a girl who convinced her it was her granddaughter. The girl stated she took an Uber and the driver got stopped and there was marijuana in the car. The girl requested $5,000.

A caller reported she got what she thought was a fraudulent call from a Robert Morris allegedly from the IRS at 2:01 p.m. on Thursday. He stated she had outstanding taxes and she would be subject to legal action if she didn’t call back.

A walk-in reported at 3:34 p.m. on Thursday that he has been getting calls from a company claiming they will send him a back brace and Medicaid will pay for it all. He stated the caller had a lot of his information.

A walk-in reported at 3:51 p.m. on Thursday that a yellow school bus was tailgating her all the way down Humphrey Street.

A walk-in reported at 4:58 p.m. on Thursday that she is having an ongoing issue with her neighbor on Mohawk Road. She stated she has a “No trespass” order against him and she found he parked his boat 3 feet from her property line and he wrote “Dipstick” in large writing on it, which she thought was intended for her and her husband. Responding officer stated it was his property and it is free speech.

NAHANT

Complaint

A caller on Nahant Road reported a man was refusing to leave her apartment at 10:31 p.m. Thursday.

PEABODY

Arrests

Fabio Bezerra, 36, of 33 Tracey St., was arrested on Wednesday 9:19 p.m. following a traffic stop at St. Johns Avenue and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license.

John B. Doe, of 34 Broad St., Apt. 29, Lynn, was arrested on Thursday at 9:59 a.m. at Peabody District Court at 1 Lowell St. and charged with disrupting a court proceeding and disorderly conduct. Officer reports the prisoner refused to be identified and booked.

Summons

Jonathan Fernandez, 32, of 22 ½ Dunlap St., Salem, was summoned on Wednesday at 4:28 p.m. following a traffic stop at Dunkin’ Donuts at 3 Central St. for operating a motor vehicle after license suspension. Vehicle was towed privately by the car’s owner.

Accidents

A motor vehicle crash was reported on Wednesday at 3:06 p.m. at 111 Central St. and 2 Wilson Terrace. Officer reports parties exchanged paperwork on their own.

Report of a two-car motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 1:29 p.m. at 136 Main St. at 8 Caller St. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Animal Control

Caller reported finding a stray shih tzu on Thursday at 9:59 a.m. on Franklin Street. Animal Control officer reports the animal is being taken to Borash Veterinary Clinic at 79 Prospect St.

Complaints

Property manager from 3 Main St. reports escalating tenant dispute in the building’s rear parking lot over a parking space on Wednesday at 5:52 p.m. Officer reports tenant was allowed to park in the spot temporarily until the leasing agreement can be reviewed.

Caller reported their belongings were locked inside the Main Street Laundry at 122 Main St. on Wednesday at 9:58 p.m. Officer reports voicemails left for listed keyholders and party will wait at 7-Eleven for a response.

A 911 caller reported he was being tailgated by a black pickup on Lake Street at Lindauer Street on Wednesday at 10:26 p.m. Reports he pulled over to let vehicle pass and vehicle made a u-turn and drove back towards Lake Street. Caller said the vehicle was last seen on Lake Street but was no longer in view. Officer checked the area, but the suspect vehicle was gone.

Caller reports an intoxicated woman leaving the Roadhouse Pub at 55 Pulaski St. on Wednesday at 11:33 p.m. and entered a motor vehicle with Massachusetts plate no. 5XV113. Officer reports operator was checked out and is safely parked at her home.

SAUGUS

Arrest

Jeffrey N. Farren, 35, of 43 School St., was arrested on probation warrant charges.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at Central and Jasper streets at 11:23 a.m. Thursday; at 91 Central St. at 3:06 p.m. Thursday.

Complaint

A report of two dogs in a vehicle in the parking lot of Bob’s Stores for more than 45 minutes at 5 p.m. Thursday.
