Douglas Champa, of 100 Willow St., was arrested on a warrant charge of larceny over $1,200 at 12:35 a.m. on Friday.

Joshua Enos, of 43 Kernwood Drive, was arrested on warrant charges of armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and kidnapping and endangering a person at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Jose Sanchez, 35, of 24 Orne St., Worcester, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle with nothing stolen at 7:16 p.m. on Thursday.

Motor vehicle crash with property damage reported on Condon Circle on Thursday at 7:50 a.m. Officer stood by for paperwork exchange.

Report of a minor motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 9:17 p.m. on Market Street. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.


Party came to the police station on Thursday at 9:54 a.m. to report a van has been parked on North Hill Drive for several weeks. Officer reports owner lives on the street.

Larceny reported at The Apple Store on Thursday at 4:56 p.m.

Suspicious automobile reported on Edward Avenue by the Wakefield Police Department on Thursday at 11:10 p.m.  

Medical Aid

Rescue requested for a person who has fallen outside of Building 2 at Center Village on Thursday at 1:47 p.m. No services required.

Well-being check requested on Thursday at 2:36 p.m. at 1 Tappan Way. Officer requested an ambulance. Patient taken to Winchester Hospital.

Report of an intoxicated woman at the Yard House at 340 Market St. on Friday at 1:09 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Lift assist requested from Summer Street on Friday at 6:34 a.m. Service provided.



A walk-in reported a silver SUV on the sidewalk on Sewall Street was blocking the whole sidewalk at 8:19 a.m. on Thursday. He stated he almost hit a woman who had to walk in the street in order to get around the SUV.

A caller asked the dispatcher if there was a local phone book at 9:49 a.m. on Thursday. The dispatcher advised the caller if they needed a number they could call 411.

A caller reported she got a call from someone claiming to be her grandson at 10:46 a.m. on Thursday. She stated the male said his voice was funny due to a “bad cold” and that he was in an accident and needed money for a lawyer. The caller stated she knew it was a scam and declined to offer any money.

A walk-in reported at 3:28 p.m. on Thursday that she was the victim of identity theft.

A walk-in reported at 5:20 p.m. on Thursday that someone stole more than $10,000 from her Bank of America account.

A caller reported a car alarm going off near Rockcliff Road at 6:12 a.m. on Friday. She stated it was going off sporadically all night and was unsure where it was coming from. At 6:41 a.m. two more calls reported the same car alarm. Responding officers found the car in the Hobbs parking lot.



Mayowa C. Ojuolape, 21, of 124 Beacon Hill Ave., Apt. 1, Lynn, was arrested on Thursday at 1:24 p.m. following a traffic stop at 23 Casco Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, failure to stop for police, refusal to produce license and registration, marked lane violation and failure to use seat belts.


Jose Feliciano Ferreira, 55, of 4 Oakland St., Salem, was summoned following a motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 12:04 p.m. at Stop & Shop Supermarket at 19 Howley St. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Gregory Falkornia, 28, of 72 Linden St., Apt. 6, was summoned on Thursday at 1:07 p.m. following a traffic stop at Petrillo’s at 6 Foster St. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a revoked registration.


Salem Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash at Treadwell’s Ice Cream Stand at 46 Margin St. on Wednesday at 3:52 p.m. Officers reported the parties have exchanged paperwork and were advised to collect the accident report in the police department lobby.

Motor vehicle crash without injuries reported on Wednesday at 5:20 p.m. at the South Peabody Liquor Mart at 87 Lynnfield St. Officer reports no tows needed.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at 161 Main St. at 2 Eagan Place on Wednesday at 7:13 p.m. Officer reports one car is smoking and Arrington Tow was en route.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Thursday at 10:36 a.m. at the Community Outreach Center at 2100 Andover St. Officer reports no tow or personal injury.


Cable and telephone wires down reported by an officer at 84 Wallis St. on Wednesday at 3:25 p.m. Officer reports home being renovated on Wallis Street.

Caller reported an explosion outside her home at 48 Endicott St. on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Officer spoke with Peabody Municipal Light Plant worker who said the sound came from a transformer and a resident lost power.

Report of a motorist sleeping in a silver Toyota sedan at 7-Eleven at 115 Main St. on Thursday at 12:41 a.m. Officer reports man came to the store on the way home from work to pick up a few items and fell asleep. He was sent on his way.

Party screaming in the parking at J.S. Transportation at 75 Walnut St. on Thursday at 1:41 a.m. Officer reports a verbal argument and woman was looking for her electronic cigarette.

Report of a stranger loitering by the front of 35 Shore Drive for an unusually long time on Thursday at 2:40 a.m. Officer reports reuniting the intoxicated man with his wife.

Medical Aid

Well-being check requested at 6 Briarwood Ave. on Wednesday at 5:35 p.m. from a caller who said her grandmother called to say that her granddaughter is trying to leave the house with her 1-year-old child under the influence of Klonopin, an anti-epileptic drug, to purchase more drugs. Officer reports the child was left with the grandparents and appears to be OK.



A caller reported a man and woman going through a white van at Square One Mall at 7:46 a.m. Thursday.

A Denver Street resident reported her vehicle windows were smashed out at 8:49 a.m. Thursday.

A caller reported she caught a man on her front porch on Twin Springs Drive and when she approached him, he left in the direction of Hilltop Avenue at 7:05 p.m. Thursday. She further reported he was wearing all dark clothing and carrying a small flashlight.

A report of a mattress in the roadway at Elm Street and Walnut Road at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.


A report of a man who stole four pairs of shoes and fled on foot from DSW on Broadway at 11:38 p.m. Thursday.
