A walk-in reported a silver SUV on the sidewalk on Sewall Street was blocking the whole sidewalk at 8:19 a.m. on Thursday. He stated he almost hit a woman who had to walk in the street in order to get around the SUV.
A caller asked the dispatcher if there was a local phone book at 9:49 a.m. on Thursday. The dispatcher advised the caller if they needed a number they could call 411.
A caller reported she got a call from someone claiming to be her grandson at 10:46 a.m. on Thursday. She stated the male said his voice was funny due to a “bad cold” and that he was in an accident and needed money for a lawyer. The caller stated she knew it was a scam and declined to offer any money.
A walk-in reported at 3:28 p.m. on Thursday that she was the victim of identity theft.
A walk-in reported at 5:20 p.m. on Thursday that someone stole more than $10,000 from her Bank of America account.
A caller reported a car alarm going off near Rockcliff Road at 6:12 a.m. on Friday. She stated it was going off sporadically all night and was unsure where it was coming from. At 6:41 a.m. two more calls reported the same car alarm. Responding officers found the car in the Hobbs parking lot.

Mayowa C. Ojuolape, 21, of 124 Beacon Hill Ave., Apt. 1, Lynn, was arrested on Thursday at 1:24 p.m. following a traffic stop at 23 Casco Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, failure to stop for police, refusal to produce license and registration, marked lane violation and failure to use seat belts.

Jose Feliciano Ferreira, 55, of 4 Oakland St., Salem, was summoned following a motor vehicle crash on Thursday at 12:04 p.m. at Stop & Shop Supermarket at 19 Howley St. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Gregory Falkornia, 28, of 72 Linden St., Apt. 6, was summoned on Thursday at 1:07 p.m. following a traffic stop at Petrillo’s at 6 Foster St. for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a revoked registration.

Medical Aid
Well-being check requested at 6 Briarwood Ave. on Wednesday at 5:35 p.m. from a caller who said her grandmother called to say that her granddaughter is trying to leave the house with her 1-year-old child under the influence of Klonopin, an anti-epileptic drug, to purchase more drugs. Officer reports the child was left with the grandparents and appears to be OK.
