Arrests

Crystal Hogan, 33, of 16 Bulfinch St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a person 60-plus/disabled at 10:04 a.m. Tuesday.

Brian Johnson, 48, of 124 Green St., was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer and no inspection/sticker at 10:31 a.m. Monday.

Accident

Massachusetts State Police report a motor vehicle crash with personal injury on Route 1 North before the tunnel on Monday at 3:10 p.m. Officer reports patient taken to Union Hospital.

Complaints

Fire alarm sounded at 6 Kimball Lane from Junction Box 1932 for food on the stove on Monday at 12:39 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Larceny reported at The Apple Store at 1220 Market St. on Monday at 7:17 p.m. Report taken.

Officer wanted at 17 Alexandra Road on Monday at 7:35 p.m.     

False Alarms

Accidental burglar alarm reported on Monday at 12:13 p.m. at 14 Durham Drive. Officer reports house appears secure.

Burglar alarm sounded by mistake at 8 North Hill Drive on Monday at 1:44 p.m.

Hang up call to 911 was reported on Tuesday at 6:45 a.m. from 9 Jensen St. Officer checked area and was unable to locate the caller.

Medical Aid

Request for an ambulance at Building 1 at 40 Salem St. on Monday at 10:06 a.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Ambulance requested on Tuesday at 12:24 a.m. at 29 Pillings Pond Road. Patient taken to the Lahey Medical Center & Clinic in Burlington.

MARBLEHEAD

Arrest

Gina Louise Proodian, 29, of 21 Robinson St., Lynn, was arrested on two non-Marblehead warrant charges at 12:34 p.m. on Monday.

Accidents

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash involving a taxi on Washington Street at 1:42 p.m. on Monday.

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash involving an elderly driver taking off on Powder House Court at 1:59 p.m. on Monday.

Complaints

A caller reported she was driving on Elm Street, at 7:55 a.m. on Monday, and saw a crying child with no shoes who appeared to be in distress. She stated the child knew his first name but did not know his last name. Responding officers were able to locate his parents and reunite him with his father.

A caller reported a vehicle on a Humphrey Street sidewalk that was partially blocking her driveway at 8 a.m. on Monday. Responding officers tagged the vehicle for a sidewalk violation.

A caller reported a large amount of water leaking from a home on Elizabeth Road at 9:17 a.m. on Monday. He said he believes the homeowners were out of town and felt it should be checked out. Responding officers found it was a sump pump.

A walk-in reported at 9:41 a.m. on Monday that she received a scam letter from France telling her she won $26.7 million but she needed to provide her information to claim the winnings. She stated she was aware it was a scam but wanted the police department to be aware.

A caller reported she arrived home at 5:11 p.m. on Monday and found her front door open on Mechanic Court. She stated she lives alone, was concerned and believes it was closed when she left in the morning. Responding officers did a walk-through and found everything to be clear.

A caller reported no power on Kimball Street at 6:43 p.m. on Monday; Manley Street at 6:44 p.m. on Monday; on Ballast Lane at 6:45 p.m. on Monday; on Harbor Avenue at 6:48 p.m. on Monday; on Foster Street at 6:53 p.m. on Monday; at Ocean Avenue and Brown Street at 6:58 p.m. on Monday; on Cutler Court at 7:04 p.m. on Monday; at 11:11 p.m. on Monday a caller from 8 Sean’s Way was concerned about the power, given her 94-year-old father was there; at 11:13 p.m. on Monday a hospice patient on Flint Street called about the power stating he needs heat for his blanket and bed to stay warm. At 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday the Light Department reported the power was back on.

NAHANT

Complaints

A report of possible gunshots coming from the ocean near How Road at 7:21 a.m. Saturday. Police report it is duck season and that hunters can legally hunt as long as they remain 150 yards offshore.

A report of duck hunters in the channel near Bass Point Apartments at 10:45 a.m. Saturday. Police report they can legally hunt 150 yards offshore.

A report of a threatening call on Nahant Road at 1:24 p.m. Saturday.

While monitoring the coastal cameras, an officer noticed youths walking around the DPW building at 1:39 p.m. Saturday. Police spoke to the individuals, who were hiking in the area.

A report of water collecting on the roadway at Castle and Harborview roads at 6:16 p.m. Saturday.

A caller reported having a loose black Lab puppy at his house on Irving Way at 6:25 p.m. Sunday. The dog had no collar and appeared to be about 6 months old.

A report of downed wires near the rectory on Nahant Road at 6:34 p.m. Sunday.

A report of duck hunters who appear to be too close to the shore and using “sink boxes” illegally at 7:36 a.m. Tuesday. She reported that there is a larger boat picking up the ducks. A second caller reported gunshot noises. Police reported there are no violations.

PEABODY

Summons

Victoria Lopez-Chavez, 34, of 2224 Lander St., Lynn, was summoned on Monday at 1:12 p.m. following a car crash at Esquire Drive and Andover Street for failure to yield and the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Amilcar Enrique Lopez-Chavez, 23, of 2224 Lander St., Lynn, was also summoned on Monday at 1:12 p.m. following the crash at Esquire Drive and Andover Street for allowing an unlicensed operator to drive a car.

Fillipe A. Souza, 26, of 21 Overlook Ridge Terrace, Apt. 325, Revere, was summoned for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Henderson T. Marcolino, 19, of 5 Second St., Woburn, was summoned on Monday at 1:43 p.m. following a traffic stop for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Accidents

A two-car motor vehicle crash with no injuries was reported at 273 Lowell St. on Sunday at 4:22 p.m. Officer reports parties exchanged paperwork prior to police arrival.

Hit and run crash reported at the Higgins Middle School at 85 Perkins St. on Monday at 8:20 a.m. Officer will document.

Caller from 14 Dana Road reports her room was vandalized while she was away on Monday at 8:39 a.m. Officer reported she took some of her belongings and will return for the rest.

Minor motor vehicle crash at the Northshore Mall at 210 Andover St. on Monday at 10:25 a.m. Officer will document.

Motor vehicle crash reported without injuries at Walgreens at 35 Main St. on Monday at 12:39 p.m. Officer reports paperwork was exchanged.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at 6 Esquire Road and 85 Andover St. on Monday at 1:11 p.m. Officer reports All-Star Tow en route, no injuries.

Complaints

Man reported harassment from a Lynn man on Sunday at 4:24 p.m. Officer said reporting party declined to file for a harassment prevention order at this time and spoke to the Lynn man and will document the incident.

Dead animal reported at Pearl Vision at 9 Sylvan St. on Sunday at 5:14 p.m. Police report the Department of Public Works was contacted.

On Sunday at 6:27 p.m. caller reported his mother keeps receiving threatening/harassing phone calls from an unknown party saying things like “Stay away from my girlfriend or I’ll shoot you.” Party has been advised it’s the wrong number but continues to call. Officer will document.

Party stuck in the car at Maddy’s Car Wash at 300 Andover St. on Sunday at 6:51 p.m. Caller said they opened the car door remotely. Officer reports all clear.

Man reported harassment from an ex-girlfriend on Sunday at 7 p.m. Caller declined to issue a restraining order.

Caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle driving by his home on Emily Lane on Sunday at 7:18 p.m. after listing his vehicle on Craigslist. Officer reports he will call the operator and document the incident.

Four-Star Towing reported hooking a trespassing vehicle on Sunday at 9:53 p.m. at the Tannery Gardens at 111 Foster St. and the owner is being difficult, refusing to pay and interfering with the tow. The owner presented a visitor pass and the vehicle was released without incident.

Caller reported being assaulted by a security officer at the Lahey Medical Center at 1 Essex Center Drive on Monday at 2:12 a.m. Dispatch called Lahey and they reported it as an out-of-control patient.

Caller from 15 Lake Shore Drive wanted his girlfriend out of his house on Monday at 7:07 a.m. Officer reported verbal dispute has been settled.

Vandalism to a motor vehicle from a door reported on Monday at 10:30 a.m. from 26 Shore Drive. Apt. C. Officer will document.

Two suspicious persons driving a white Ford pickup reported banging on the door at 13 Leonard St. on Monday at 11:56 a.m. Officer reports parties gone upon arrival.

Medical Aid

Well-being check requested by a man on his girlfriend, who is a drug addict, at Mobile Estates, 286 Newbury St., on Monday at 8:57 a.m. Girlfriend was checked out by EMT but refused assistance. She admitted to using drugs a few days ago and hit her head resulting in bruises.

Caller requested a well-being check for an irrational party at 14 North Apartments, 6200 Crane Brook Way, on Monday at 9:33 a.m. Person taken to the North Shore Medical Center for evaluation.

Rodney Laventure, 18, of 128 Wyman St., Apt. 1, Lynn, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation.

A report of an assault with a dangerous weapon on Newhall Avenue at 9:20 p.m. Friday.

A report of an assault on Chestnut Street at 6:54 p.m. Sunday.

A report of an assault and battery on Marden Street at 7:24 p.m. Sunday.

Complaints

A Pleasant Street resident reported a loud bang in her home and believes someone may be inside at 5:55 a.m. Friday.

A report of a large amount of trash in the roadway on Ballard Street at 10:31 a.m. Friday.

A caller reported his vehicle was vandalized while parked in the Thomas Street apartments lot at 12:17 p.m. Friday.

A report of four men dressed in camouflage walking around the parking lot with what appears to be hunting rifles at 3:03 p.m. Friday. Police report the hunters are legally allowed to be there.

A report of a suspect attempting to sell drugs at Cogliano Plaza on Lincoln Avenue at 4:21 p.m. Sunday.  

A report of wires down at 24 Dudley St. at 8:05 p.m. Sunday; at Mount Vernon and Clifton streets at 8:22 p.m. Monday.

A report of a deceased cat in the middle of the road at 206 Lincoln Ave. at 1:54 a.m. Tuesday.

Theft
