Roy Defreitas, of 44 Tudor St., was arrested on warrant charges of two counts of trespassing, assault and battery, Class A drug possession, larceny and disorderly conduct at 9:43 a.m. Sunday.

Juan Escobar, 34, of 507 Walnut St., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor at 5:07 p.m. Saturday.

Gregory Harrison, 53, of 14 Collins St., Peabody, was arrested and charged with violation of the city knife ordinance and on warrant charges of uttering a counterfeit note, larceny, uttering a false check and forgery of a check at 2:57 a.m. Saturday.

Jennifer Levesque, of 100 Willow St., was arrested on a warrant charge of abandoning a motor vehicle at 10:39 p.m. Friday

Jason Macallister, 23, of 28 Hollingsworth St., was arrested and charged with malicious wanton property defacement, violation of the city knife ordinance, resisting arrest and assault with a dangerous weapon at 9:09 a.m. Sunday.

James Rogers was arrested on warrant charges of three counts of trespassing, two counts of shoplifting by asportation, two counts of drug violation near a school/park, drug possession with intent to distribute, Class E drug distribution, assault and battery and larceny from building at 12:10 p.m. Friday.

Michael A. Young, 34, of 206 Washington St., Apt. 3, was arrested on a warrant at 4:35 p.m. Saturday.


A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:38 a.m. Saturday on Nanepashemet Street.


A report of suspicious activity at 6:18 p.m. Saturday on Humphrey Street. A caller reported there was a man who kept ringing the doorbell and wouldn’t go away. She said the man told her he lived on the second floor and lost his key. Police responded and reported there was no one around.


A report of an opioid overdose at 10:35 p.m. Friday on Broughton Road.


A report of a stolen recycling bin at 12:14 p.m. Friday on West Shore Drive. A caller reported he went out to pick up his two recycling bins and one was missing.




Katrina L. Freeman, 28, of 10 Tower St., Webster, was arrested on warrants at 9:11 p.m. Friday.


A caller reported duck hunters appeared to be close to the beach and causing a disturbance at 7:01 a.m. Friday on Mills Terrace. Police reported the hunters appeared to be far enough off the shore to safely hunt.
