Bryan Barnett, 27, of 89 Taffrail Road, Apt. 3, Quincy, was arrested on warrant charges of uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and shoplifting by asportation at 1:48 a.m. Thursday.

Charles Giardina, 35, was arrested on a courtesy booking at 9:39 a.m. Wednesday.

William Townsend Jr., 56, of 100 Flint St., was arrested on a courtesy booking at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday.

False alarms

Accidental burglar alarm triggered by workers at 29 Rockwood Road on Wednesday at 8 a.m.

Gas odor reported inside 1 Stagecoach Lane on Wednesday at 5:51 p.m. Call referred to the Lynnfield Fire Department.


Medical Aid

Caller reported a fall with facial injuries at 1 New Meadow Road on Wednesday at 4:13 p.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Husband called from 1 Cooks Farm Lane on Wednesday at 5:18 p.m. to report his wife has passed out. Patient refused medical assistance.

Lift assist requested from a resident of 972 Main St. on Thursday at 1:36 a.m.




A report of a motor vehicle crash on Pleasant Street at 10:46 a.m. on Wednesday.



A caller reported a distraught woman on Pleasant Street at 8:56 a.m. on Wednesday. Responding officers located the woman and found she was hysterical about losing a bank card.

A caller reported a fifth grade student walking away on Jersey Street at 10:48 a.m. on Wednesday. They stated three staff members were accompanying him. At 10:57 a.m. responding officers reported the student was with their father.

A caller reported three men in an inflatable boat firing shotguns at waterfowl on Anchorage Lane at 7:17 a.m. on Thursday. They were advised of the hunting regulations.

A caller reported at 7:28 a.m. on Thursday that she had not seen her Bayview Road neighbor in a few days and the garage door had fallen off. She stated she was concerned her neighbor may have been under the garage door. Responding officers found the neighbor to be fine.




Caller reports he struck a parked car at 77 Main St. on Wednesday at 2:25 p.m. Officer reports no personal injury, no tow needed, report filed.


Animal Control

On Wednesday at 1:58 p.m. a caller reported his brother was recently jailed and she needs a new home for his dog, Ruckus. Caller was advised the Animal Control officer does not take surrendered animals and she was provided with rescue information.



Police report solicitors from Edward Jones Mutual Funds are in the neighborhood of Esquire Drive on Wednesday at 10:46 a.m. and from Powerhome Remodeling in the downtown at Hancock Street and Gedney Drive on Wednesday at 11:53 a.m.

Homeowner from 30 Donna St. reports he is having a hard time with a company that cleaned the leaves from his yard on Wednesday at 12:53 p.m. Officer will document.

City ordinance vehicle violation reported on Wednesday at 1:11 p.m. at 9 Danforth Road. Officer will issue a 15-day notice to remove to Massachusetts license plate no. 686CG4. Officer reports the owner of the motor vehicle is Sergio Martinez, of 7 Spring Circle. The Danforth Street landlords are William Portello and Lorena Hamze.


Medical Aid

Visiting Nurses Association requested police assistance with a combative party at 14 Dane St. on Wednesday at 12:08 p.m. Officer reports party taken to the hospital.




James D. Herd, 38, of 74 Camden St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with second offense of operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, negligent operation of motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Dantonio D. Thornton, 39, of 785 Winthrop Ave., Apt. 4, Revere, was arrested and charged with defacing a firearm serial number and warrant charges.

A Founders Way resident reported his neighbor from the apartment below him was at his door complaining about noises and might have a knife her hand at 8:50 p.m.



A caller reported shoplifting from Macy’s Department Store at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday.
