So far, so good for the Peabody girls basketball team.
Behind 18 points from Kristina Rossignoll and 11 from Oluchi Okananwa, the Tanners (2-0) defeated Danvers 49-42 Monday night on the road.

Peabody outscored Danvers 15-3 in the third quarter.
“It was a repeat of the first game (win over Revere last Friday),” McKeen said. “We started slow, we were down 11-2. We came back and had a three-point lead at the half. We opened the game in the third quarter. The third quarter’s been our quarter. We’ve owned the third quarter in our first two games. It’s a work in progress but I’m pleased.”
