Arrests

Anthony Burney, 43, was arrested and charged with trespassing at 3:24 p.m. Friday.

Jonathan Leighton, 30, of 43 Starrett Road, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, carjacking, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, leaving the scene of property damage, assault with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and failure to stop for police at 12:22 p.m. Friday.

Bernardo Lopez-Deleon, 41, of 446 Western Ave., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor and reckless operation of a motor vehicle at 7:59 p.m. Saturday.

Gilbert Mendoza, 27, of 69 Lynnway, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and on warrant charges of extortion by threat of injury and larceny at 7:01 p.m. Saturday.

Luis Ramirez, 25, of 184 Western Ave., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and on warrant charges of OUI liquor and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

Emilly Rodriguez, 22, of 12 Chester Place, was arrested and charged with interfering with a police officer at 10:36 p.m. Friday.

Nathan Simers, 35, of 2 Summit Ave., was arrested and charged with Class B drug possession and conspiracy to violate the drug law at 8:06 p.m. Saturday.

MARBLEHEAD

Arrest

Faxon Alexander Michaud, 25, of 8 Ferry Lane, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 12:49 a.m. on Saturday.

Accidents

Multiple callers reported a motor vehicle crash with a minor injury and a snapped pole at Ocean Avenue and Beach Street at 11:47 p.m. on Friday. One of the callers stated a male party from the accident was walking down the street and had a head laceration. At 12:14 a.m. on Saturday, Ocean Avenue was closed until 1:32 a.m., when it was reopened for one way traffic.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:03 p.m. Saturday on Atlantic Avenue.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 4:16 p.m. Saturday on Green Street.

Complaints

A caller reported “consumer fraud” at 12:27 p.m on Friday and stated he was out $90.

A report of an officer receiving word at 2:13 p.m on Friday of a possible fight after school between two students behind the post office. Responding officers spoke with school faculty and they stated they held one of the students after school who may have been involved.

A walk-in reported at 5:40 p.m. on Friday that they were receiving calls from 704-469-0783 claiming to be from National Grid. The caller stated they requested money from them. The dispatcher advised the caller that it was a scam and National Grid does not operate that way.

A caller reported a road rage incident with a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed and passing cars on the left in the wrong lane at West Shore Drive and Lafayette Street at 6:46 p.m on Friday. Responding officers spoke with the erratic operator and he stated the other vehicle was going too slow so he passed them.

A caller reported a black Jeep Cherokee driving erratically through Kenneth Road at 7:21 p.m. on Friday. Responding officers tracked down the owner of the vehicle and called him and he stated it is his vehicle but his son was driving it. He stated he would call him and tell him to come home immediately so he can address the complaint.

A caller reported her neighbors were throwing a loud party on May Street at 12:19 a.m. on Saturday. Responding officers couldn’t hear anything from the street.

A report of juvenile offenses at 12:27 a.m. Sunday at Village Street and Willow Road. A caller reported a group of children rang her doorbell and began running down the street.

Theft

A caller reported theft of a watch at Pleasant Street at 6:33 p.m. on Friday. At 6:41 p.m. the watch was located and turned over to its owner.

A caller reported theft of jewelry at 10:01 a.m. Saturday on Brackett Street. The caller later reported she found the jewelry in her bedroom.

A report of a stolen handbag at 3:58 p.m. Saturday on Saturn Road. A caller reported she thought her handbag was misplaced but got a call from Stop & Shop saying that they had her handbag with just a Stop & Shop card inside and nothing else. The purse was reportedly found after a car break in and unknown city.

Arrest

John A. Terry, 70, of 866 State Road, Plymouth, was arrested on warrants at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10 a.m. Friday on Little Nahant Road. A caller reported he hit a car head-on because he was blinded by the sun.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 1:34 p.m. Friday on Ellsworth Road. A caller reported someone walking around in the area. The person relayed that he was working for the town surveying the roads for next year’s paving plan.

Arrests

Rui Encarnacao, 59, of 34 Oak St., Apt. 2, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 5:26 p.m. Friday.

Kristina M. Tranfaglia, 28, of 270 Cabot St., Apt. 1, Beverly, was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and OUI liquor at 1:44 a.m. Saturday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 7:19 p.m. Friday at Route 128 North and 310 Lowell St. One person was taken to Beverly Hospital.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:37 p.m. Friday at Speedway at 545 Lowell St.; at 1:16 a.m. Saturday at City Hall at 24 Lowell St.; at 11:38 a.m. Saturday at 93 Gardner St. and 50 Margin St.; at 12:02 p.m. Saturday at 209 Lowell St.; at 1:18 p.m. Saturday at Kelly Volkswagen Storage Lot at 151 Andover St.; at 3:02 p.m. Saturday at 64 Andover St.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 11:55 p.m. Friday at 6 Sherman St.

A report of operating under the influence of liquor at 1:44 a.m. Saturday at 42 Sabino Farm Road. A motor vehicle crash with a vehicle on its roof was discovered after a caller reported a woman was banging at the door and yelling to call police. Kristina M. Tranfaglia, 28, Apt. 1, Beverly, was arrested.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 7:04 p.m. Friday at Stonewood Tavern at 139 Lynnfield St. A manager reported a man who appeared to be in his 20s made concerning statements to a juvenile in the bathroom. The man was asked to leave and not return to the bathroom; at 1:24 p.m. Saturday on Elmwood Circle. A caller reported a man walking up and down the street talking on a cell phone for more than two hours. Police reported the man was having an involved conversation on the phone with his significant other; at 2:35 p.m. Saturday at Peabody Council on Aging at 79 Central St. A caller reported people were looking into vehicles in the rear lot of the Senior Center; at 6:34 a.m. Sunday at 17 Glendale Ave. A caller reported an unknown person looking around the property with a flashlight. Police reported the person was a neighbor walking the dogs and keeping an eye on the property for the homeowner.

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 7:39 p.m. Friday at 2223 Avalon Drive. A caller reported the upstairs neighbors were being too loud and stomping around maliciously. An officer reported the neighbor’s young children were told by their parents to walk lighter in the future.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 4:58 p.m. Saturday on Gardner Street. The person was taken to Lahey Hospital.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 6:37 p.m. Friday at 7-Eleven at 115 Main St. Staff reported two stolen cellphones.

A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 10:16 a.m. Saturday at Police Department at 6 Allens Lane.
