LYNNFIELD — The New Year’s Eve Family Block Party will return to MarketStreet Lynnfield, this year as a ’60s-themed party. Packed with music, entertainment, and giveaways, the New Year’s Eve bash is free and open to the public. It will be directly outside of the open-air shopping center’s skating rink on Monday, Dec. 31, from 5-7 p.m.
“Between our shops, restaurants, skating rink, and New Year’s Eve Family Block Party, MarketStreet Lynnfield could not be a better place to find that holiday cheer and to spend the last weeks of 2018. We are so proud to give families the opportunity to celebrate the season together and to host events that bring the North Shore community together,” said Lauren Taylor, general manager.
In addition, the ice rink, with its new warming tent, has extended hours this season. Starting Dec. 26, the rink is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weeknights.
