Complaints

Caller reports she believes someone tried to enter her apartment from the balcony at the Arborpoint Apartments at 300 King Rail Drive, Apt. 414, on Thursday at 8:31 a.m. Officer reports a maintenance closet is attached to the balcony, no evidence of forced entry.

Walk-in party said they need a vehicle identification number verified on Thursday at 11:39 a.m.

False Alarms

Accidental fire alarm reported on Thursday at 12:03 p.m. at Donovan Liquor at 449 North Broadway. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Fire alarm accidentally triggered by water in the basement on Summer Street on Thursday at 12:51 p.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

False burglar reported at 11 Wing Road on Thursday at 3:09 p.m.

Accidental fire alarm reported at 4:49 p.m. Thursday at 29 Cortland Lane.

Accidental burglar alarm at Gaslight at 1100 Market St. on Friday at 12:49  a.m. Officer reports all is secure.

Medical Aid

Ambulance request from the Sunrise Assisted Living, 55 Salem St., Apt. 225, on Thursday at 2:40 p.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.

Complaints

A caller on Pinecliff Drive reported she returned home from yoga to find someone in her crawl space working with a saw at 10:22 a.m. Thursday.

A report of a man distributing flyers on Pleasant Street at 1:02 p.m. Thursday.

Theft

A report of a phone scam in which scammers told the caller her grandson had been arrested at 8:23 a.m. Thursday.

NAHANT

Complaints

A caller on Pond Street reported landscapers working in the area were using leaf blowers and they are too loud at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday. She wanted to know if there was an ordinance in town about loud equipment used by landscapers. Police reported they will take it up with selectmen.

A report of a water break at Gardner Road and Irving Way at 5:56 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of water flowing into a house at Gardner Road and Irving Way at 6:31 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of gunshots out in the water off of Maolis Road at 7:41 a.m. Thursday. Police report they may be duck hunters.

A caller reported a cardboard box in the inbound lane of the Nahant Causeway at 4:24 p.m. Thursday.

PEABODY

Animal Control

Chihuahua reported running loose in the Carrabba’s Restaurant parking lot at 1A Newbury St. on Thursday at 7:41 p.m. Officer reports dog brought to Animal Control officer.

Complaints

On Thursday at 4:45 p.m., caller from 31 Margin St., Apt. 3 said he believes his package delivered yesterday was stolen at 10:30, according to UPS. Officer will document.

Caller from 107 Lynn St. reported having an argument with the father of her children and wants him off her property. She said he grabbed her and ripped her jacket on Thursday at 4:47 p.m. Officer reports parties are separated at this time.

Caller reported unoccupied black pickup truck in the driveway of 3 Anthony Road has been there for a few hours on Thursday at 6:57 p.m. Officer reports owner of the motor vehicle is the homeowner.

Two callers reported an older woman in a pink jacket and ink leggings possibly intoxicated stumbling onto the westbound side of Lowell Street near the Northeast Nursery on Thursday at 7:57 p.m. Officer reports woman taken to the Lahey Medical Center.

Caller reporting two suspicious motor vehicles in the area of 75 Lake Shore Road at 39 Bay State Road on Thursday at 11:24 p.m. Officer arrived and determined that there was a two-car motor vehicle crash and took an accident number.

Walgreens at 35 Main St. reports customer tried to pass counterfeit cash on Friday at 9:38 a.m. Officer reports party prohibited from the store for a year.

Robert Joseph Desimone, 20, of 400 Revere Beach Blvd., Apt. 408, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a family or household member.
