Santina Lewey, of 145 Lewis St., was arrested on a warrant charge of shoplifting by asportation at 6:44 p.m. Tuesday.

George Reed was arrested on warrant charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday.

Rashawn Sams, 24, of 89 Adams St., was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness at 9:32 a.m. Wednesday.

Report of a stolen package containing prescription drugs from the front porch at 491 Salem St. on Tuesday at 8:04 p.m.

Officer requested on Tuesday at 9:04 p.m. at 226 Chestnut St. Caller reports a buzzing noise in the area. Officer reports the sound was coming from a generator.

Disabled truck reported at 449 Summer St. at 11 Walnut St. on Tuesday at 9:14 p.m. Officer reports assistance is on the way, truck is off the road with hazards on.

False Alarms

Accidental burglar alarm at 180 Walnut St. on Tuesday at 9:20 a.m. Officer reports all is secure.

Report of an accidental burglar alarm on Tuesday at 11:57 a.m. at 46 Phillips Road. Officer reports door open, property checked, all is secure.

Medical Aid

Caller reported a 28-year-old with suicidal thoughts on Midland Road on Tuesday at 2:46 p.m. Officer reports patient taken to the hospital.



A report of a motor vehicle crash where one vehicle struck a parked car and then a pole at Lafayette Street at 3:05 p.m. on Tuesday.


A caller reported at 9:10 a.m. on Tuesday that his vehicle window was smashed and his briefcase was stolen overnight at Sevinor Road. He stated there was a credit card and a few other items in the briefcase.

A walk-in reported at 3:16 p.m. on Tuesday that he was selling some furniture on “Offer Up” and received a check from a person who said he was buying the furniture. She stated that he sent the check and told her to cash it and use the $500 to pay the movers he was going to send and then the rest was for the furniture. She stated she went to the bank and found it was a scam and a fake check.

A report of a motorcycle sitting inside a common hallway on Washington Street at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fire Captain Tim Rice stated it is a violation to leave it there and he contacted the owner to have it removed. The owner said he had it inside so he could remove the battery.

A caller reported he wanted his roommate removed from their Pleasant Street apartment at 12:28 a.m. on Wednesday. He stated she was yelling at him and calling him names and would like her and her boyfriend out of the apartment. Responding officers arrived and the female’s boyfriend left for the night and the roommates separated and went to bed.

A report of a group of five people refusing to leave the business at Buffalo Wild WIngs on Main Street at 12:51 a.m. Wednesday.



Rocky Benedetto, 46, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license as a habitual traffic offender, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer, and possession of an unregistered motor vehicle at 10:22 a.m. on Tuesday.
