A report of a motor vehicle crash where one vehicle struck a parked car and then a pole at Lafayette Street at 3:05 p.m. on Tuesday.
Complaints
A caller reported at 9:10 a.m. on Tuesday that his vehicle window was smashed and his briefcase was stolen overnight at Sevinor Road. He stated there was a credit card and a few other items in the briefcase.
A walk-in reported at 3:16 p.m. on Tuesday that he was selling some furniture on “Offer Up” and received a check from a person who said he was buying the furniture. She stated that he sent the check and told her to cash it and use the $500 to pay the movers he was going to send and then the rest was for the furniture. She stated she went to the bank and found it was a scam and a fake check.
A report of a motorcycle sitting inside a common hallway on Washington Street at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fire Captain Tim Rice stated it is a violation to leave it there and he contacted the owner to have it removed. The owner said he had it inside so he could remove the battery.
A caller reported he wanted his roommate removed from their Pleasant Street apartment at 12:28 a.m. on Wednesday. He stated she was yelling at him and calling him names and would like her and her boyfriend out of the apartment. Responding officers arrived and the female’s boyfriend left for the night and the roommates separated and went to bed.
