PEABODY

Arrests

Christion A. Castillo, 24, of 1 Goldberg Road, was arrested on Saturday at 4:34 p.m. on two warrants and charged with trespassing, assault and battery and violation of miscellaneous municipal ordinances.

Harutyun Demirtshyan, 25, of 220 Bartholomew St. was arrested on Saturday at 4:39 p.m. at his home and charged with domestic assault and battery on a household member.

Bjanko Jakic, 29, of 18 Warren St. Apt. 3, was arrested on Sunday at 1:37 p.m. and charged with assault and battery on a disabled elderly person.    

Summons

Elias Perez, 38, of 78 Central Ave., Apt. 311, Lynn, was summonsed on Saturday at 1:31 p.m. following a traffic stop at the Jehovah’s Witnesses at 79 Endicott St. for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Car taken from scene by a licensed operator.

Accidents

Hit and run crash reported on Friday at 5:21 at Su Chang’s Restaurant at 373 Lowell St. The 911 caller said the crash occurred in Danvers and the vehicle was pursued into Peabody. Officer reports vehicle has been stopped at the restaurant is missing driver’s side mirror. Danvers Police Department has all the info and is handling it.

A two-car motor vehicle crash reported at Bishop Fenwick Schooplat 83 Margin St. on Friday at 5:22 p.m. Officer reports Phil’s Towing is en route.

Motor vehicle crash reported at 245 Lynnfield St. at 2 First Ave. on Friday at 5:43 p.m. No injuries, no tows, and officer will document.

Caller who would like to stay anonymous reports a motor vehicle with the interior light on has been parked on Broad Street for a half hour on Friday at 6:36 p.m. Vehicle pulled into the driveway at the residence at no. 15.

Two-car minor motor vehicle crash reported on Friday at 8:14 p.m. in the parking lot at the Just In Time Cafe at 2 First Ave. Officer assisted with the paperwork exchange.

Caller reports her grandmother’s parked motor vehicle was hit and the other motor vehicle left the scene at 79 Lynn St. at 2 Brown St. on Friday at 9:53 p.m. Calling party gave possible plate number but did not know the direction of travel. Upon officer’s arrival, the motor vehicle that struck the parked car came back and exchanged paperwork.Animal Control

Caller from Tannery Apartments reports another resident gave her a hard time about a barking service dog on Saturday at 5:12 p.m. Officer spoke with borth parties and will document.

Complaints

Caller from 7 Lowman Circle reports his ex-wife is in his house and he has a deed stating she is not allowed in the home. Officer will document the civil matter on Friday at 4:01 p.m. Man was advised to leave until he could provide proper documentation
Road rage incident called in on Friday at 4:16 p.m. at 168 Lynnfield St. at 1 Dooling Circle. Caller reported Massachusetts license no. 925EF1 was driving aggressively, cutting off vehicles, speeding up and braking abruptly. Officer will document.
Report of a suspicious man in dark clothing wearing a cape and a boot cast on his leg entered the driveway at 37 Highland Park on Friday at 4:20 p.m. Caller said man left on foot and is headed toward North End Street. Officer spoke with the reporting party who said the incident occurred at 1:27 p.m. Nothing further to report. All clear.

Officer speaking with a man who was walking in the middle of the road at the Sprint store at 232 Andover St. on Friday at 6:44 p.m. Officer gave him a ride to the mall and will be cleared.
Unconscious person reported in the restaurant at  300 Brooksby Village Drive. Police cleared by Atlantic Ambulance who were evaluating the patient on Friday at 7:08 p.m.

Caller from Domino’s Pizza reports a homeless man out front bothering customers at 1 Andover St. on Friday at 8:22 p.m. Officers spoke with the man and he will not be returning to the pizza shop.  

Report of someone shining a light in an apartment at Fairweather Apartments at 20 Central St., Apt. 105 on Friday at 8:56 p.m. Officer spoke with the woman and said he will be checking the area.
Caller reports she heard two men arguing outside her home on Pierpont Street. She said one man was standing over the other man who is on the ground and then left on foot on Friday at 9:43 p.m. Officer spoke with both men. It was not an assault. One man was drunk and the other was assisting. All clear.

Caller reports elderly party walking westbound on Route 114 on Saturday at 10:24 a.m. Officer checked area but unable to locate anyone on the road.

Possible fight in progress at the Welch School at 50 Swampscott Ave. on Saturday at 10:59 a.m. One person was upset when told to put dog on a leash. Officer going to 39 Home St. to speak to the involved party and will document.

Caller from 14 Albert Road reported neighbor was blowing leaves into their yard on Saturday at 12:26 p.m. Officer reports neighbor has picked up the leaves and no further action needed. Employee from Healthy Pet at 637 Lowell St. reported a person trying to steal dog products from the store on Saturday at 1:32 p.m. Nelson Cabral, 39, was ordered not to return to the store.

Drunk man reported at 12 Tracey St. on Friday at 4:35 p.m. who asked to be taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

Man reported not feeling well on Friday at 4:54 p.m. at 145 Washington St. Patient taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

Drunk man reported at Stop & Shop Supermarket at 19 Howley St. on Friday at 5:49 p.m. Party taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

Report of a person who fell and has a head injury at Gregory’s Lounge at 50 Walnut St. on Friday at 8:47 p.m. Officer reports patient taken to Lahey Medical Center in Peabody.
