Arrests

Scott Barton, 41, of 100 Willow St., was arrested on warrant charges of malicious destruction of property worth more than $1,200, breaking and entering daytime for felony, and charged with a default warrant at 11:24 p.m. on Thursday.

Anthony Ferragamo, 22, of 280 Washington St., Peabody, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug, possession to distribute a class drug, possession of a firearm without an FID card, unlawful possession of ammo without FID card, and firearm use in felony at 12:43 p.m. on Friday.

Katrina Freeman, of 57 Foxhill Road, Nahant, was arrested on warrant charges of operating under the influence of liquor and child endangerment while operating under the influence at 2:10 p.m. on Friday.

Jesus Liria, of 35 Graves Ave., was arrested on warrant charges of operating under the influence of liquor, alcohol from an open container, two counts of improper turns, and a marked lanes violation at 2:31 p.m. on Thursday.

Frank Magori, 50, of 11 Hamley St., was arrested on warrant charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, possession of an unregistered motor vehicle, possession of an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property worth more than $1,200, larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny over $1,200, assault and battery, and charged with two default warrants at 12:39 a.m. on Friday.

Shawn McDormand, 46, of 500 Essex St., was arrested and charged with a city knife ordinance violation at 12:45 p.m. on Friday.

Ingmar Pojoy, 24, of 15 Myrtle St., was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 4:38 a.m. on Friday.

Rosba Taylor, 26, of 35 Lynnway, was arrested on warrant charges of carrying a loaded firearm weapon, possession of a firearm with a defaced number, possession of a firearm without an FID card, possession of a Class B drug, evading railroad fare, carrying a gun or weapon, a miscellaneous municipal ordinance, malicious wanton defacement of property, assault with a dangerous weapon, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, possession of an unregistered motor vehicle, possession of an uninsured trailer or motor vehicle, number plate violation, and charged with resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 12:46 p.m. on Thursday; at 50 South Common St. at 1:47 p.m. on Thursday.

Caller reports motor vehicle crash with property damage at 739 Walnut St. on Friday at 5:43 a.m. Officer reports two people were taken to the hospital.

Motor vehicle crash with property damage reported on Friday at 6:56 a.m. at Salem Street and Hidden Valley Road. Officer reports two people taken to the hospital.

Complaints

Report of a cellphone found at Whole Foods Market on Market Street by a caller from 3 Cranberry Lane on Thursday at 1:28 p.m.

Wireless caller from the Christmas Tree Shop at 28S Broadway reported an employee will not leave the building on Thursday at 3:21 p.m. Officer reports party left prior to police arrival.

Caller reported a man dressed in dark clothing was walking in the road on Summer Street on Thursday at 6:58 p.m. Officer located the party and drove them to Everett Bank.

Report of a lost wallet in front of The Paper Store on Market Street on Thursday at 6:59 p.m. Officer checked the area around where party was parked and spoke to employees of the store but found nothing.

False Alarms

False burglar alarm reported at 34 Brook Drive on Thursday at 7:47 a.m. Officer reports all is secure.

Alarm company canceled a burglar alarm call for 6 Windsor Road on Thursday at 1:38 p.m.

Medical Aid

Lifeline request for an ambulance on Thursday at 10:56 a.m. at 130 Summer St. Patient taken to the Beverly Hospital.

Request from 76 Crest Road for an ambulance on Thursday at 11:13 a.m. Patent taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Ambulance call from 972 Main St. on Thursday at 1:52 p.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.

MARBLEHEAD

Complaints

A caller reported an attempted social security fraud call at 9:33 a.m. on Thursday. She stated there are a lot of elderly residents in town and she does not want them to get defrauded by a scammer.

A caller reported a black sedan with out-of-state plates that was operating erratically at Smith and Pleasant streets at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday. She stated the vehicle crossed the yellow lines and almost side-swiped two vehicles. Responded officers reported the vehicle as gone on arrival.

A caller reported his father received a scam call from someone claiming to “be the Boston Globe.” He stated his father was able to stop the charge but wanted the police department to be aware.

A caller reported that “you take your life into your hands crossing Smith Street because of speeding cars,” at 4:13 p.m. on Thursday. She also stated it is the same near Glover School.

A walk-in reported that she arrived home with her daughter at 5:51 p.m. on Thursday and the television was on. She stated they were afraid someone was inside and that recently they have had a couple of other suspicious things happen to her daughter. Officers did a walk-through of the home and found nothing.

A caller reported he thought he heard what sounded like gunshots on Stonybrook Road at 7:11 a.m. on Friday. Responding officers were unable to hear anything but what sounds like construction vehicles at the dump.

PEABODY

Arrest

Arnalfo Niz, 29, of 262 Western Ave., Lynn, was arrested on Friday at 2:51 p.m. following a traffic stop at 46 Prospect St. and 2 Felton St. and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license. He was also charged with an outstanding warrant form Lynn District Court.

Summons

Kristina Pixley, 25, of 505 Pleasant St., Malden, was summoned on Thursday at 3 p.m. following a traffic stop at 662 Lowell St. and charged with operating an uninsured, unregistered motor vehicle with a revoked registration.

Adam Collins, 37, of 68 Starrett Road, Lynn, was summoned on Friday at 3:14 p.m. following a traffic stop at 46 Prospect St. and 2 Felton St. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with an expired license.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 21 Caller St. on Thursday at 3:48 p.m. Caller said other operator refused to exchange information. Officer assisted in paperwork exchange.

A three-car crash was reported on Thursday at 5:43 p.m. at Plum Tomatoes at 145 Summit St. Officer reports no injuries and tows.

Two-car crash reported on Friday at 7:44 a.m. at 420 Lynnfield St. Atlantic EMS reports no need for police.

Officer assistance requested at 286 Newbury St. at 8:39 a.m. on Friday as three unregistered vehicles were towed from the property for trespassing.

Fight in progress reported at Olivera’s Steak House at 74 Walnut St. on Friday at 10:37 a.m. Officer reports a person fell, there was no fight. Patient taken to the North Shore Medical Center.  

Animal Control

Caller reports two loose dogs at 7 Perley Ave. charged at his two dogs who were leashed on Friday at 1:24 p.m. No one was injured, but they were chased down the street. Officer issued a $50 ticket to Danielle Cafarelli who has been previously warned about licensing the animal.

Complaints

Disabled motor vehicle reported at Five Corners at 43 Lake St. on Thursday at 5:51 p.m. Officer reports motor vehicle is off the road and no hazard.

Caller reports he may have lost his keys while walking on Thursday at 7:27 p.m. on Pulaski Street. Keys were described as a Subaru key, a large door key, three smaller keys, one with an American flag, and several store reward cards.

Report of a motor vehicle parked partially in a driveway at 252 Newbury St. on Thursday at 10:05 p.m. causing a traffic hazard on Route 1. Officer reports vehicle has been moved and AAA arrived.

A noise complaint was received on Friday at 2:39 a.m. at 732 Silverleaf Way. Officer reports all is quiet.
