Matthew Currier, 60, of 53 Lowell St., was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and on a warrant charge of Class C drug possession at 10:48 a.m. Wednesday.

Gilbert Mendoza, 27, of 35 Apple Road, Beverly, was arrested and charged with violation of the city knife ordinance at 12:14 p.m. Wednesday.

Report of a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday at 11:36 a.m. at 123 Summer St. and 9 Forest Hill Ave. Officer stood by for tow.

Complaints

Unwanted party reported at United Parcel Service at 600 Main St. on Wednesday at 3:29 a.m. Caller said terminated employee refuses to leave the property. Officer reports party has left.

Caller reported she heard suspicious noises in her garage at 14 New Meadow Road on Wednesday at 5:52 a.m. Officer reports “felonious feline” was trapped in the garage.

False Alarms

False burglar alarm received from 50 Salem St. on Tuesday at 8:46 a.m. Officer reports everything appears to be secure.

Medical Aid

Request for an ambulance at 1 Sylvan Terrace on Wednesday at 2:29 a.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

MARBLEHEAD

Arrest

Brian A. Hancock, 60, of 33 Waterside Road, Apt. A, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday.

Assaults

A report of an alleged assault at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday on Franklin Street. Police reported the incident happened in Salem and will be referred to Salem Police.

Complaints

A caller reported at 10:46 a.m. Tuesday on Atlantic Avenue there was a work crew setting up dumpsters and ladders. The crew reportedly didn’t have work permits and were blocking the sidewalks. Police reported the crew shut down and would head over to the town’s fire department and selectmen’s office.

A report of an unknown alarm sounding at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday on Farrell Court. A caller reported hearing an alarm sounding in the area, which had been going off for about 10 minutes and didn’t sound like a fire alarm. Police reported nothing sounding with someone telling an officer that it was an alarm clock coming from an apartment unit.

A report of a neighbor dispute at 6:51 p.m. Tuesday on Pequot Road. A caller reported he was having an ongoing issue with a neighbor and thought the neighbor “snapped” his drainage pipe. He reportedly didn’t have any proof who did it, but it was unearthed that day and he had ongoing issues with a neighbor regarding drainage in the past.

A caller reported an erratic operator at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday on Maple Street, who was speeding, tailgating and almost rear-ended someone.

A caller reported she accidentally put diesel fuel in her car instead of regular and it had stalled in front of the station at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday on Gerry Street. The car was pushed to the side of the road by police and towed.

PEABODY

Summons

Marcia Dalfior, 36, of 51 Tracey Road, was summoned on Tuesday at 9:21 p.m. following a traffic stop at 118 Tremont St. and 2 Oakland St. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Renato Kennede Alves, 37, and Edimilson Alves De Oliveira, 21, were summoned on Wednesday 2:16 p.m. following a traffic stop at Jaguar/Land Rover at 27-249 Newbury St. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Accidents

A report of a two-car motor vehicle crash at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday at 80 Main St. and 2 Wallis St. No tows or injuries and officer will document.

Past hit and run crash was reported on Tuesday at 3:25 p.m. at the Lahey Medical Center at 1 Essex Center Drive. Officer will document.

Peabody Fire Department reports a car carrier was on Route 128 North and it may have struck the Route 114 overpass on Tuesday at 8:21 p.m. Massachusetts State Police notified.

Motor vehicle crash reported at 10 Endicott St. on Wednesday at 7:56 a.m. Officer will document. No injuries or tows.

Complaints

Resident at 22 Ethel Ave. reports a package worth $50 was stolen on Tuesday at 3:07 p.m. Officer will document.

On Tuesday at 5:21 p.m. caller from 42 Perley Ave. reported her neighbor yells at her when she walks by his house. She was advised to ignore the neighbor and keep walking.

Property manager from 150 Main St. requests assistance in removing homeless people behind the building on Tuesday at 8:05 p.m. Officer reports parties were sent on their way.

Well-being check requested by a grandmother from 115 Lowell St., Apt. 7, for her grandchildren who she just dropped off with their father and his girlfriend on Tuesday at 8:57 p.m. Officer reports all is OK.

Suspicious white Honda Civic with a large black tool box atop the vehicle was reported on Tuesday at 10:53 p.m. at 7 Park St. Officer will monitor the area.

Homeless man reported sleeping in the lobby at Peabody Housing Authority at 75 Central St. on Wednesday at 6:07 a.m. Officer reports party sent on his way.

Arrest

Jonathan Mendez, 29, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no inspection sticker, and a default warrant of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 6:16 p.m. on Tuesday.
