Amanda Angel, 26, of 91 Hanover St., was arrested and charged with Class A drug possession, Class B drug possession and on warrant charges of uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and trespassing at 3:13 p.m. Monday.

James Blood, 35, of 11 Lynnfield St., was arrested and charged with fugitive from justice on court, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, receiving stolen property, number plate violation to conceal ID, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, failure to stop for a school bus and on warrants at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday.

Larchilles Bruton, 36, of 99 Laighton St., was arrested and charged with Class A drug trafficking 200-plus grams, Class B drug trafficking 100-plus grams, possession of a firearm without a firearm identification card, firearm use in a felony, unlawful possession of ammo without a firearm identification card and possession of a large capacity weapon/feeding firearm at 6:04 a.m. Tuesday.

Sean Christian, of 136 Dean St., Norwood, was arrested on warrant charges of Class E drug distribution and selling liquor to a person under 21 at 12:38 p.m. Monday.

Amanda Elwell, of 26 Winter St., Saugus, was arrested on warrant charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday.

Jennifer Thurell, 36, of 54 Rockaway St., was arrested on a warrant charge of receiving a stolen motor vehicle at 9:34 a.m. Tuesday.

Sebastian Toro, 19, of 17 Carlton Terrace, was arrested and charged with Class A drug distribution, Class B drug distribution and violation of the city knife ordinance at 3:16 p.m. Monday.

Animal Control

Caller reported a dog has been barking for hours on Phillips Road at 10:58 a.m. on Monday. Animal Control officer contacted.


Lockout reported at 401 Ross Road on Monday at 8:35 a.m. Call handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Disabled truck reported at 1100 Main St. and 228 Lowell St. on Monday at 2:53 p.m. Officer reports vehicle has been moved to Rourke Lane. Officer requested on Monday at 9:23 p.m. at Kernwood Liquor at 12 Salem St. Caller reports his son saw a silver Ford Focus with two men attempting to get into the liquor store. Officer reports vehicle is broken down in the parking lot. No silver vehicle in the area. Men say they have been broken down in the lot for a while and no other vehicle has been there. Officer spoke with reporting party whose son has pictures. It appears party was drunk, pulled up to the door, pulled on door handle and found it was locked and drove away. No evidence of break-in.

False Alarms

Accidental 911 call from 15 Moran Road on Monday at 8:01 a.m.; from the Lahey Health Center at 1350 Market St. on Monday at 10:23 a.m.

False burglar alarm received from 8 North Hill Drive on Monday at 11:23 a.m. Officer reports house appears secure.

Accidental burglar alarm from the second floor living room window at 8 North Hill Drive on Monday at 4:01 p.m. Officer reports all is secure.

False panic alarm received from Blue Cow Software at 50 Salem St. on Monday at 5:16 p.m. Officer reports door is secure and all is in order. Cleaning crew on site.

Medical Aid

Medical aid requested at 7211 Heather Drive on Monday at 9:13 a.m. Patient taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

Ambulance requested on Route 128 North at Exit 43 on Monday at 12:56 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

False burglar alarm reported on Tuesday at 3:37 a.m. at  527 Salem St., Apt. U-32. Officer reports house was checked with the resident and all is OK.



A report of a motor vehicle crash at Ocean and Atlantic avenues at 10:34 p.m. on Monday.


A caller reported at 7:56 a.m. on Monday that a black trailer “has been parked for about a month without moving” on Ocean Avenue.

A caller reported his contractor tried to do work on his property on Manataug Trail at 9:11 a.m. on Monday and his neighbor tried to stop the work. Responding officers spoke to both parties and restored the peace.

A caller reported a large truck was blocking portions of the sidewalk and crosswalk on Pleasant Street at 9:54 a.m. on Monday and prevented her from using the bus stop. She called back at 9:58 a.m. and stated the truck moved. She called back at 10:17 a.m. and stated there was a car now parked in the same area and when she asked the driver to move he stated he “parks there all the time” and refused to move. Responding officers arrived and got him to move his vehicle.

A caller reported at 12:12 p.m. on Monday that a male party was in a white Toyota on Humphrey Street and was “pounding beers.” The caller stated he asked the male what he was doing and the male just “smiled at him.” Responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

A caller asked to speak with an officer at 12:49 p.m. on Monday regarding theft occurrence in her store on Atlantic Avenue. She stated the theft involved middle school-aged children.

A caller was looking to see if the police department could contact a party that had their motor vehicle parked on Summer Street and ask them to move so he could park there. Dispatch stated if it was legal for the party to be parked there and it was on public property, they could not ask them to move. The caller stated he has done this several times in the past. Dispatch sent an officer but reaffirmed they could not call someone and ask to move their car. The caller continued to give dispatch the license plate number of the vehicle and ask them to call. Dispatch continued to say “No.”



Cassiane Toldedo, 33, of 21 Caller St., Apt. 202, was arrested on Monday at 2:37 p.m. following a traffic stop at 86 Main St. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Emanoel C. Demoura, 25, of 21 Caller St., Apt. 202, was arrested on Monday at 2:37 p.m. following a traffic stop at 86 Main St. and charged with allowing an unlicensed person to operate a motor vehicle.


John Anthony Waiswilos, 23, of 18 Damon Ave., Ipswich, was summoned on Monday at 3:41 p.m. following a traffic stop on Route 95 North and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Robert Roy, 52, of 30 Lowell St., Apt. 3, was summoned on Monday at 4:51 p.m. following a hit and run crash at the Peabody Fire Department at 47 Lowell St. on Monday at 4:51 p.m. for leaving the scene of an accident.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Monday at 8:01 p.m. at Arnold Road. Officer reports no injuries or tows.

Two-car motor vehicle crash reported on Monday at 9:42 p.m. at 2 Upton St. and 54 Walnut St. Officer is on scene and reported one vehicle struck a shopping cart on Walnut Street which then struck the second vehicle. Officer will document.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at McDonald’s Restaurant at 133 Main St. on Tuesday at 8:19 a.m. Officer contacted owner of the parked vehicle. No injuries or tows.

Car into a tree at 37 Gardner St. on Tuesday at 2:37 p.m. that also struck a pedestrian. A 71-year-old man was taken to the North Shore Medical Center. Phil’s Towing is en route.

Animal Control

Turkey on the roadway causing a hazard reported on Monday at 4:17 p.m. at 2 Sprague St. and 102 Tremont St. Officer checked area and no sign of turkey.

Well-being check for a cat at 261 Newbury St. on Tuesday at 11:48 a.m. Cat checked out and all is OK.

Caller reported he was chased by two shih tzu dogs from 80 Franklin St., Apt. 1, on Tuesday at 3:19 p.m. Caller confirmed he did not come in contact with animals. Officer mailed a citation warning for loose dogs and a copy of leash law to Ivanilda Kilgour.


Resident of 14 Collins St., Apt. 3 reports a mother picking up a child at the school made threats on Monday at 3:12 p.m. Officer advised her to get the license plate number of the suspect and police will investigate.

Well-being check on his mother requested by her son at 9 Ledgewood Way, Apt. 16, on Monday at 3:24 p.m. Officer made contact. She was shopping and tried to call son back but he did not answer.

Mother from 183 Lowell St., Apt. 1, reported her son has been missing since he got out of school. The 12-year-old boy is described as 5 feet, 1 inch tall, with blond-brown hair, black jeans, black shoes, blue Boston hoodie, red T-shirt, gray beanie, black backpack, earring in the left ear, possibly wearing glasses. He is usually on foot and has been missing since Higgins Middle School got out. Report came in on Monday at 6:13 p.m. Officers were told to be on the lookout, and the child arrived home without incident while the officer was present.

Caller reported a vehicle with a Massachusetts license plate no. 8PZ598 was parked across her driveway at 8 Highland St. on Monday at 7:01 p.m. Officer verified vehicle is blocking driveway, unable to locate owner, and contacted Phil’s Towing for a tow. Officer reports vehicle was on the tow truck and was dropped when owner arrived.

Caller reported seeing a man being pushed by two other parties at Ampet at 139 Lowell St. on Monday at 9:35 p.m. Officer spoke to the parties. One party is drunk and the others were trying to help him home.

Party sleeping in the lobby of the Fairweather Apartments at 20 Central St. on Tuesday at 12:58 a.m. Officer reports party sent on their way.

Well-being check requested for a man sleeping in a running vehicle on Tuesday at 3:11 a.m. at Nathans Way and Bartholomew Street. Officers report the man had fallen asleep and all is OK.

Woman reported she heard banging outside her home at 8 Sprague St. on Tuesday at 3:55 a.m. Officers determined the noise came from trash cans that blew against the house by the wind.

Well-being check requested for a resident of public housing at 103 Central St., Apt. 206 on Tuesday at 7:23 a.m. Officer reports woman was in the shower and all is OK.

Report of two men arguing in the 7-Eleven parking lot at 115 Main St. on Tuesday at 8:06 a.m. Officer reports both men left the scene.
