Goolwin Aguilon-Morales, 26, of 119 South St., was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and urinating in public at 10:04 p.m. on Thursday.

Yovani Coronado-Merida, 34, of 58 Beaver St., Salem, was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer and resisting arrest at 11:17 p.m. on Thursday.

Leonardo Garcia, 24, of 137 Alley St., was arrested on four warrant charges and charged with possession of a Class A drug and being disguised to obstruct justice at 2:51 p.m. on Friday.

Ramiro Martinez, 28, of 12 Acorn St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer, resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer at 11:21 p.m. on Thursday.


A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at Endicott and Franklin streets at 9:31 a.m. on Thursday; at 210 Lewis St. at 9:03 a.m. on Friday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at Atha’s Famous Roast Beef, 25 Boston St., at 2:01 p.m. on Thursday; at 59 Wyman St. at 4:53 p.m. on Thursday; at 88 South St. at 8:12 p.m. on Thursday; at 93 Union St. at 8:58 p.m. on Thursday; at Franklin Street and Western Avenue at 10:21 p.m. on Thursday; at Essex and Fayette streets at 2:36 p.m. on Friday.

Minor motor vehicle crash reported on Market Street with no personal injuries on Wednesday at 7:29 a.m.

Hit and run crash reported on Wednesday at 9:57 p.m. at 669 Market St. by the owner of a 2014 Honda Accord. Officer took report.

Car crash with property damage reported on Thursday at 11:45 p.m. at J.M. Electrical at 471 North Broadway.


Officer requested at 300 Ross Drive for a dispute between the resident and a cab driver over fare on Wednesday at 5:23 p.m. Officer reports resident paid fare and peace restored.

Ashwood Road resident reports his neighbor is outside calling his dogs, but the animals are in the house barking on Wednesday at 10:56 p.m. Officer reports resident and dogs are in the home and none are barking outside. Man called police back on Thursday at 12:05 a.m. to report neighbor is outside yelling. Officer reports all is quiet.

Report from 707 Walnut St. on Thursday at 10:20 p.m. about a resident who is pumping water from basement into the street. The Department of Public Works supervisor requested to assess situation and the area was salted and cones put out.

False Alarms

Accidental burglar alarm at 15 Village Row on Wednesday at 2:22 p.m.

False burglar alarm at Personal Finance Management Plus at 40 Salem St. on Wednesday at 5:48 p.m. Officer reports side door to the building was unlocked. All is secure.

False alarm at Whole Foods Market at 100 Market St. on Thursday at 12:14 a.m. Officer reports all is secure.

Accidental burglar alarm on Thursday at 3:03 a.m. at 25 Chatham Way. Officer reports all is secure.

Accidental burglar alarm reported on Tuesday at 12:47 p.m. at Whole Foods Market at 100 Market St. Officer reports all is secure. Same report on Friday at 4:51 a.m. Officer reports alarm was triggered accidentally by employees arriving for work.



Amy L. Leck, 77, of 21 Puritan Road, was arrested and charged with a second offense of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and license not in possession at 4:28 p.m. on Thursday.


A caller reported speeding at Humphrey Street and Hereford Road at 9:05 a.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported their neighbor’s outside pipe burst on Richard Road at 2:25 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers found the sprinkler was frozen and there was an outside irrigation issue, which they were able to shut off from the outside.

A caller reported she was inbound on Humphrey Street and saw a small silver sedan on the wrong side of the road, heading towards her at 5:09 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers did not find any motor vehicles driving erratically in that area.

A caller reported that a white SUV pulled onto Cornell Road from West Shore Drive at 5:51 p.m. on Thursday. The caller stated the vehicle was just sitting there at an odd angle and not moving. Responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

A caller reported a drunk female out front of Ocean Avenue yelling and screaming at 8:35 p.m. on Thursday. The caller reported she came into the lobby and started banging on the glass, with two males standing behind her. Responding officers were not able to find anyone fitting that description.

A caller reported people were out in the street yelling and creating a disturbance on Washington Street at 11:18 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers found nothing at the scene. The caller called back again and said a woman was running and a man went up a driveway stating he was stabbed, then the woman got into a blue car and drove away. Another caller, from Heritage Way, reported at 11:33 p.m. on Thursday that a blonde woman was screaming and got into a car with two males in a blue vehicle and was screaming while the two men were beating her up. Responding officers checked the town and were unable to locate a blue vehicle fitting the description.



A motor vehicle crash reported at Down River Ice Cream at 86 Andover St. on Wednesday at 7:52 p.m. with party bleeding from the head. EMS en route. Officer reported one vehicle left after paperwork exchange. The other party refused medical attention.

Animal Control

Caller from Birch Street reports a barking dog for more than 45 minutes at 26 Bristol Road on Thursday at 3:04 a.m. Officer reports area checked and all quiet at this time.


Caller reported that kids were yelling at cars that drove by 198 Washington St. on Wednesday at 3:41 p.m. Officer spoke with all parties involved who stated that there was just a disagreement between two parties and the motor vehicle involved.

North Shore Elder Service requested a well-being check on Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. for a man who has been sick and has not heard from him since yesterday afternoon. Officer checked on man at the North Shore Mobile Villa at 161 Newbury St., Apt. 35, and reported he is in good health and will be contacting agency.

Employee of the Vitamin Shoppe at 300 Andover St. reports a black Acura has been parked in front of the store for the past half hour on Wednesday at 4:44 p.m. Officer spoke with owner of motor vehicle who said that he picks up a friend everyday who works at Audi.

Report of a possible domestic on Wednesday at 5:43 p.m. at 129 Lowell St., Apt. 22. Officer reports the TV was up loud. All is OK.

Caller reports that a motor vehicle was parked in front of her driveway and would like to speak to an officer because of threats from the operator on Wednesday at 5:25 p.m. at 144 Main St., Apt 2. Officer spoke with the reporting party who was advised to speak with the parking clerk or traffic division about the parking complaints.

Outback Steakhouse at 300 Andover St. reported a customer walked out on $100 bill on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. Restaurant prefers no legal action at this time but wants the bill to be paid. Officer spoke with manager who said the man returned and paid the bill.

Caller reports a man is getting beat up in front of Champion’s Pub at 114 Foster St. on Wednesday at 10:48 p.m. Officers checked the area and could not locate anyone outside fighting.

Checks on 2 Osborne St. are being conducted because a resident felt unsafe due to a domestic issue during the previous shift on Thursday at 1:55 a.m. Officer contacted the victim and assured her random area checks of her residence that will be conducted. Officer checked the address and all appears in order at this time.

Caller reports party attempting to break into Apt. 9 at the Charles Motel at 4 Mill St. Officer reports there was no breaking and entering on Thursday at 4:23 a.m.. A woman had locked herself out of the apartment and was trying to get in. Person could not gain access and will go to a friend’s house for the night.

Two disabled motor vehicles reported at Starbucks Coffee at 240 Andover St. on Thursday at 8:53 a.m. Officer reports the car ran out of gas and waiting for help while the operator is waiting in a nearby vehicle.

Officer conducted an area check of the two drug kiosks located in the Peabody Police Department lobby on Thursday at 12:26 p.m. One drug box and one sharps box was removed from each of the kiosks. Sergeant will place these boxes into evidence. At this time everything appears secure.

Caller reported a woman at Farnham Park on Endicott Street in a vehicle for several hours on Thursday at 10:54 p.m. Officer reports the party was watching a movie in the vehicle.

Caller requested assistance with a party giving him a hard time at the Wilson Square Citgo at 2 Andover St. on Friday at 10:45 a.m. Officer advised it was a civil matter, reporting party will review invoices with a mechanic and follow up on.

Medical Aid

Request for an ambulance at 3 Rockdale Park on Wednesday at 6:19 p.m. for a woman having difficulty breathing. Patient taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

Fall with an injury reported on Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. at 5 Anderson St. Patient taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

An unresponsive elderly person was reported at 36 Samoset Road on Thursday at 2:38 p.m. Patient taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

Unresponsive person reported on Friday at 3:45 a.m. at 10 Princeton St. EMS administered one shot of Narcan. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.
