Hunters in Revere discovered what appears to be human remains in Rumney Marsh.
The discovery was made Friday morning, according to a statement from the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office.
“The remains were spotted to the rear of a North View Terrace residence by hunters this morning and appear to be bones,” said the DA’s office.
State Police Troopers assigned to Suffolk County Detective Unit and Revere Police detectives are investigating the discovery.
The remains were taken to the Chief Medical Examiner’s office, where they will be tested to determine if they are human, and how the person may have died.
