LYNN — A 19-year-old male from Revere suffered non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted on Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly before 3 p.m., after the victim was assaulted elsewhere, he ran into the Dragon Inn on Market Street and the restaurant called 911 for help, according to Lt. Michael Kmiec of the Lynn Police. There were many non-life threatening injuries to the victim’s abdomen, head, and arms.
Blood was clearly visible on the restaurant’s front door handle and on the towels that first responders put down on the kitchen floor, where the victim sat after rushing in. First responders escorted the victim, with towels draped over his head, as he walked to the back of the ambulance.
Kmiec said the victim was not forthcoming with information on how he was assaulted and it is unknown, at this time, if any weapons were used during the incident.
