A caller reported a bus struck his vehicle and damaged his mirror on Humphrey Street at 1:41 p.m. on Monday.
Complaints
A caller reported that she was walking her dog on Pleasant Street at 9:44 a.m. on Monday when a “man in a large truck” started to yell at her about her dog “doing its business.” She stated she informed the man she had bags and was picking it up when he “left the lot, drove around the corner and back again, got out of his truck, and started to yell” at her. She provided responding officers with a partial license plate number.
A caller reported that a vehicle drove by and took pictures of her house on Clipper Way and then drove away at 10:41 a.m. on Monday. She stated she went outside and the vehicle returned and the driver began taking pictures of her. Responding officers reported the driver was gone on arrival.
United States Coast Guard Boston called and stated they had a navigation team 2.5 miles southeast of town with an unnamed dinghy. They tried to contact the owner and found him to be unavailable as he was at Abbot Hall at a dangerousness hearing for a dog bite. USCG took that as he was not overboard. Responding officers later had the owner of the dinghy confirm it was his.
A caller reported a silver vehicle that was driving erratically at Tedesco and Humphrey streets at 4:47 p.m. on Monday. She stated it would break at random times, swerved, and almost caused a few crashes. Responding officers found the silver vehicle gone on arrival.
A caller reported someone parked and blocked their driveway on Hazel Court at 8:11 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers tagged the vehicle for failing to leave a 10-inch way and for parking in a restricted area. They noted the vehicle was not blocking the driveway.
A walk-in stated at 7:28 a.m. on Tuesday that he was frauded via the internet. He stated he lost $80,000.

Arrest
Nina Marie Cole, 24, of 286 Newbury St., Apt. 48, was arrested at 6:17 p.m. on Monday and charged with passing a false check, forgery of a check, possession of a Class A drug, and larceny over $1,200.

Scott J. Webster, 48, of 13 Arthur Welch Drive, was summoned at 12:58 a.m. on Tuesday following a hit and run motor vehicle crash at the Cabaret Lounge, 96 Newbury St. He is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious damage to a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident. Officer reports there was rear end damage to the reporting party’s vehicle and the party was assaulted by the operator who left the scene. Massachusetts State Police were notified.

Motor vehicle crash into a fire hydrant reported on Tuesday at 6:06 a.m. at 175 Lowell St. Vehicle was towed by Malia’s Tow and the operator refused medical attention on scene.

Peabody Police Department cruiser was rear-ended on Route 1 North in a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 7:56 a.m. Saugus Police Department handled the accident.

Salem Police Department called for a well-being check on Monday at 3:36 p.m. at the request of United Hand & Rehabilitation at 119R Foster St. who said a mother hasn’t picked up her kids from a Salem school. Officer reports they were informed they picked up kids and dropped them off to her at an agreed upon location. Mother wasn’t there and the children were returned to school. The mom is at the North Shore Medical Center’s ER with chest pain. Officer will forward info to all parties.
Wire down at 24 Trask Road reported on Monday at 4:22 p.m. Caller said the large white wire is across the road, no sparking. Officer reports Peabody Fire Department is on scene handling it.
Gas odor reported on Monday at 4:28 p.m. at 38 Keys Drive. A 911 caller said outside gas meter is hissing and there’s a strong odor of gas in the area. Peabody Fire Department contacted National Grid.
Owner of 36 Walnut St. called police on Monday at 5:14 p.m. and wants to speak with an officer about a truck hitting the building earlier in the day.
