A report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 12:05 a.m. Saturday at Sylvan Street Grille on Sylvan Street. A caller reported someone assaulted her. Alicia Stuart, 23, of 6 Rose Lane, Gloucester, was summoned for assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 7:45 p.m. Friday at Plaza Motel at 125 Newbury St. A caller reported a woman was yelling she needed help and saw her leave with three men. Police checked the area and couldn’t find anyone walking near the Plaza Inn; at 9:19 p.m. Friday at 7 Columbia Blvd. The homeowner called to relay that the babysitter told her someone went running away from the front door; at 10:23 p.m. Saturday at YMCA at 259 Lynnfield St. A caller reported his vehicle was hit by an unknown object and broke his rainguard; at 10:11 a.m. Sunday at 7 Newhall Place. A neighbor reported two people climbed through the window of the vacant house. The homeowner told police he was cleaning the house out before giving it back to the bank.
Overdose
A report of an overdose at 4:50 p.m. Friday at Mobile Estates on Newbury Street. The person was taken to Beverly Hospital.
