Make that five wins in a row for the Classical football team. Saturday afternoon’s game at Beverly was all Rams from start to finish as Classical blanked the Panthers, 41-0, at Hurd Stadium.
The Rams scored on their opening drive, led 22-0 at halftime and never looked back.
Classical quarterback Keith Ridley was the star of the game. Ridley tossed three touchdown passes (one each to Nashuan Butler, Raymond Ramirez and Maurice Sequeira) and scored another touchdown on a keeper. Running backs Marcus Tucker and Nico Galeazzi each scored on a touchdown run.
Classical improved to 7-3 with the win. The Rams now shift gears to preparing for their Thanksgiving game against crosstown rival English.

Three weeks ago, the Vikings were 2-5. First-year coach Jonathan Cadigan said the goal was to finish with a winning season. Winthrop took a step forward in reaching that feat Saturday, as the Vikings improved to 5-5 with the win at Miller Field.
“It was a good win,” Cadigan said. “We got to 5-5 which was our goal when we were 2-5. We wanted to play for a winning season on Thanksgiving so that’s a positive.”
Bobby Hubert scored two rushing touchdowns and Feedle Small rushed for 75 yards.
Defensively, Jonathan Applebee recorded an interception for the third consecutive game.
