A Pillings Road resident reported that someone in a black vehicle threw some type of fireworks out of the window on the roadway at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday. Police report the items are about 1 inch long and produce a loud pop sound when stepped on or driven over in the intersection of Pillings Road and Prankers Road. The Fire Department determined that the items appeared to be some type of novelty device.
