Motor vehicle crash reported on Wednesday at 6:44 a.m. on Condon Circle. Officer reports no personal injury, assisted with paperwork exchange.


Suspicious person reported on Tuesday at 1:23 p.m. at 15 Sylvan Circle. Caller said a man in a gray SUV with New Hampshire plates was on her property. Officer unable to locate.

Tire in roadway reported at 1050 Summer St. and 136 Moulton Drive on Tuesday at 7:54 p.m. Officer reports tire found on the grass in front of 976 Summer St.

False burglar alarm reported on Tuesday at 4:49 p.m. at the Wakefield Cooperative Bank at 596 Main St.; at 7 Kimball Lane on Wednesday at 1:12 a.m.

Medical Assistance

Ambulance requested at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.

Medical rescue requested at 19 Clark Road on Tuesday at 11:33 a.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Ambulance requested at 411 Ross Drive on Tuesday at 1:05 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Request for an ambulance from 340 Summer St. on Tuesday at 3:37 p.m. Patient taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

A report of a minor motor vehicle crash in front of the Marblehead School of Music on Essex Street at 5:31 p.m. on Tuesday.


A caller reported a white van with tinted windows that was stopped on Village Street in the middle of the road at 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated there was no traffic when they beeped at the driver and didn’t move. Responding officers spoke with the driver who said he was delivering phone books.

A caller reported a tree limb down on Chestnut Street at 11:10 a.m. on Tuesday.

A report of a resident’s tool bag that fell off their truck near Sewall and Jersey streets at 11:11 a.m. on Tuesday.

A caller reported, at 11:26 a.m. on Tuesday, an attached trailer that has been parked by 54 Lee St. since August. She stated one wheel is up on the sidewalk. Responding officers informed the trailer’s owner that they would be getting $25 in tickets a day if they did not move it.

A caller reported traffic congestion on Pleasant Street at 11:33 a.m. on Tuesday. They stated there needs to be an officer in front of the Masonic Lodge and that someone stopped to pick up a person and the car behind them laid on the horn then blew around them at 40 mph, nearly striking a mother and a child in a carriage.

A report of a scam, at 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday, where the caller told a resident their son was arrested and needed bail money. The caller told the resident they would even come pick them up and bring them to the bank to get the money.

A caller reported three people holding signs on Pleasant Street at 1:21 p.m. on Tuesday.

A caller reported at 1:54 p.m. on Tuesday that her driveway and retaining wall on Lee Street suffered damage from something and she wanted it reported.

A resident turned in a .38 Smith & Wesson revolver to be destroyed at the police department at 2:31 p.m. on Tuesday.

A caller reported a power outage on Coolidge Road at 11:39 p.m. on Tuesday. Power was restored at 2:06 a.m. on Wednesday.

A caller reported she could hear a man walking around the outside of her home on West Shore Drive at 5:14 a.m. on Wednesday. Responding officers spoke with a male outside the residence and stated he was an Uber driver picking up a person close by, which they told the caller. She said she may have been dreaming.

A caller reported a male in his 30s sleeping in the passenger seat of their home on Green Street at 7:12 a.m. on Wednesday. The caller stated they did not want to press charges but wanted police assistance in getting the male to leave.



Ryan O’Toole, 21, of 12 Grey Squirrel Circle, Medway, was arrested following a traffic stop on Wednesday at 7:42 a.m. at Exit 26 on Route 128 North, and charged with failure to stop for police, speeding, breakdown lane violation, and unsafe lane change.


Ana Carmen Quintans-Baptist, 44, was issued a summons following a motor vehicle stop on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Boston Smoke Shop at 2 Main St. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.


A report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash with no injuries on Tuesday at 4:03 p.m. at 31 Main St. and 2 Park St. The  suspect vehicle, a black GMC truck, was reported to have turned on Park Street and fled. Officer could not locate suspect vehicle.

Report of a crash at 111 Central St. and 2 Wilson Terrace on Tuesday at 7:57 a.m. Medical attention declined, one vehicle towed.

Report of a minor motor vehicle crash on Wednesday at 2:16 p.m. at the Peabody Bottle & Can Corp. at 27 Caller St. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Animal Control

Caller reported a dog left out in the rain and in distress on Tuesday at 4:14 p.m. Animal control officer spoke with owner and dog is inside and all is OK.


Caller from Route 1 Auto Service at 218 Newbury St. reports a customer refuses to leave on Tuesday at 7:08 p.m. Party sent on their way.

Disabled motor vehicle reported in the middle of the street at 178 Lowell St. and 3 Orchard St. on Tuesday at 7:28 p.m. Owner had run out of gas and was able to get fuel and is on his way.

Suspicious party reported at the rear of a U-Haul at 13 Pierpoint St and 20 Sewall St. on Tuesday at 9:41 p.m. Officer reports party is standing by for his brother to pick up U-Haul and is assisting his girlfriend move.

Loud music reported at 17 Harris St. on Wednesday at 6:58 a.m. Officer reports music was shut down and reporting party advised to go to court.

Disabled motor vehicle reported at the Salem Country Club at 133 Forest St. on Wednesday at 12:41 p.m. Officer stood by as tire was changed.



Ryan L. Applegate, 36, of 101 Vine St. Apt. 1L, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug and possession of a Class A drug.
