Arrests

Bascom Drawdy, of 22 Essex Circle, was arrested on warrant charges of four counts of shoplifting by asportation, three counts of larceny, shoplifting by concealing merchandise, possession of a shielding device and Class A drug possession at 11:46 a.m. Tuesday.

Jeffrey Fromer, 63, of 29 Lambert Ave., was arrested on a courtesy booking at 10:04 a.m. Tuesday.

Mandy Scaletti, of 22 Essex Circle, was arrested on warrant charges of larceny, larceny of a motor vehicle and Class B drug possession at 11:46 a.m. Tuesday.

Caller reported a suspicious truck is parked in front of 25 Island Road on Monday at 1:52 p.m. Officer reports the owner of the vehicle is working in the neighborhood.

Theft reported at the Christmas Tree Shop at 28 South Broadway on Monday at 5:16 p.m.

Officer requested at 12 Lookout Terrace about a family dispute on Monday at 7:49 p.m.

Suspicious person reported on Monday at 8:48 p.m. at Charming Charlies at 920 Market St. Officer reports party has been picked up by a family member.

 

Burglar and Fire Alarms

False burglar alarm reported on Monday at 3:28 p.m. at 12 Fletcher Road; an accidental 911 call was reported on Monday at 3:28 p.m. from 3 Nottingham Road; false burglar alarm at 7 Orchard Lane at 1:06 a.m. on Tuesday; defective fire alarm at the Wakefield Elks on Bay State Road on Tuesday at 2:17 a.m.

 

Medical Assistance

Ambulance requested at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. on Monday at 11:35 a.m.

Request for an ambulance with a lift was requested from 30 Crescent Ave. on Monday at 3:58 p.m.

Ambulance requested for a 53-year-old man with chest pain and difficulty breathing at 2 Carpenter Road. Patient taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

Medical aid requested for a man who passed out in a motor vehicle at Lynnfield Commons at 375 North Broadway on Monday at 11:08 p.m. Patient taken to hospital.

 

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:18 a.m. on Monday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with a tractor trailer that became stuck at the corner of Washington and Hawkes streets at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

 

Complaints

A report of a vehicle in a bad spot causing traffic problems at Lafayette Street and Everett Paine Boulevard at 12:39 p.m. on Monday. Responding officers found the vehicle’s owner who stated it was disabled. She waited for a tow truck.

A caller reported he was driving on Village Street at 4:37 p.m. on Monday and saw a child sitting on the sidewalk and crying. The caller stated he was concerned as the child was alone and wanted an officer to check on him. Responding officers were unable to locate the child.

A caller reported at 7:21 p.m. on Monday his neighbor is out to dinner and he noticed the front door was wide open. The caller stated he thought he heard someone inside the house but was not sure. Responding officers checked the building and found the door latch was broken and they attempted to re-secure the door.

A caller reported a white SUV that was in his driveway on Henrys Way at 9:23 p.m. on Monday. He stated the car abruptly left the area.

Summons

Bodgan Jucewicz, 55, was issued a summons following a motor vehicle stop on Monday at 4:59 p.m. at 567 Lowell St. and 2 Goodale St. and charged with operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash with no injuries on Monday at 5:19 p.m. at 8 Aborn St. and 68 Holten St. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

A minor motor vehicle crash was reported at Subway on Lowell Street on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange.

Two-car motor vehicle crash reported at City Hall on Lowell Street. on Tuesday at 8:48 p.m. Officer reports no injuries and no tows.

Report of a two-car motor vehicle crash at the Peabody Housing Authority on Central Street. Officer reports paperwork exchanged and all is OK.
Motor vehicle crash on Gardner Road on Tuesday at 10:25 a.m. Officer will document.

Possible hit and run crash reported on Tuesday at 10:44 a.m. at 2 Andover Drive and 51 Andover St.

 

Animal Control

Caller reported a domestic short-haired cat has been coming into her yard at 24 St. Anns Ave. She said it always appears to be hungry. She took a picture of it on Monday at 4:02 p.m. and will email it to animal control officer.

 

Complaints

Caller reports a black Chevrolet Avalanche illegally parked in a handicapped parking spot at Stop & Shop Supermarket on Howley Street on Monday at 2:37 p.m. Officer reports HP placard was on the dashboard.

Woman called from Lifeline on Monday at 2:38 p.m. at 23 Wilson Terrace to report she is severe abdominal pain and can’t walk. Officer reports patient taken to Lahey Medical Clinic.

Resident reported being locked out of her apartment on Monday at 2:41 p.m. at 22 Pulaski St., Apt. A1. Officer reports resident is in touch with management to unlock the door.

Resident of 46 North Central St. reported a suspicious man was at her door an hour ago on Monday at 3:33 p.m. The man was described as white, 6 feet tall, thin, clean shaven, shoulder length hair, wearing a dark coat and gray hat and left the neighborhood in a white car. Reporting party said they were uncomfortable around the person.

Caller from Andy’s Walnut Mart at 36 Walnut St. reported a juvenile causing a problem in the store on Monday at 3:44 p.m. Officer reports three juvenile females left the store prior to arrival. Officers will check the area.

Rockport Police Department requested a well-being check on Monday at 4:11 p.m. for an employee who did not respond for work and is not answering the telephone. Officer spoke with party and all is OK. He will contact employer.

Neighborhood dispute over a fence reported from 1 Jordan Road on Monday at 4:29 p.m. Officer reports parties were advised of civil action and will handle with land department at City Hall.

Caller reports an Allsafe Lock & Key van caused him to drive off the road and ruin his tire on Monday at 5:11 p.m. Officer reports no contact was made between the parties. Caller made arrangement to replace the wheel.

Manager at 7-Eleven at 115 Main St. reports a trespasser in the parking lot again on Monday at 8 p.m. Officer reports party is near McDonald’s and advised him again of the locations he’s trespassed. He will be returning home for the night.

Manager from Dunkin’ Donuts at 3 Central St. reports a man outside the cafe soliciting money on Monday at 8 p.m. Officer checked the area, but man was gone.

Disabled motor vehicle was reported at the jughandle on Newbury Street on Monday at 9:28 p.m. Officer reports Gaeta’s Towing handled the tow.

Front desk employee at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive, Apt. 309, requested police assistance to remove an argumentative guest on Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. Officer reports man was sent on his way.

Caller from Newbury Estates at 286 Newbury St. reports her neighbor has a handgun and believes he intends to commit robberies on Tuesday at 8:53 a.m. Officer will document.

Caller reported a suspicious person who walked into TD Bank at 79 Lynnfield St. is now in the parking lot. Officer reports party thought they saw a friend. All is OK.
