Raelynn Barrett, 32, of 100 Willow St., was arrested on warrant charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

Craig Catton, 37, of 92 Bypass Lane, Derry, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug, warrant charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a Class A drug, state highway traffic violations, and other warrant charges.

Georgios Keskinidis, 36, of 82 Judge Road, was arrested and charged with trespassing.

Luis Lugo-Bernabel, of 50 Laighton St., was arrested on warrant charges distributing a Class A drug and distributing a Class B drug.


Burglar Alarms

A false burglar alarm was reported at 746 Summer St. on Friday at 1:22 p.m. Officer reports house appears to be OK; at 452 Summers St. on Friday 1:29 p.m.; on Friday at 6:36 p.m. at 3 Cranberry Lane; at 3:27 p.m. on Saturday at 262 Summer St.: at 9:48 a.m. Sunday at 470 Main St., resident reports the alarm was set off accidentally.


At 10:30 a.m. on Friday the Conservation Commission requested an officer to accompany her to request National Grid to stop removing trees on the property.

Report of a theft on Friday at 11:58 a.m. at the Apple Store at 1220 Market St.

The Capital One Cafe at 1200 Market St. requested extra patrols overnight on Friday at 8:58 p.m. because they lost signal with two ATMs.

Debris in roadway at 710 Summer St. and 17 Elmwood Road on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. Officer reports item was removed.  

Caller reported a bicycle has been left at 527 Salem St. for several days on Saturday at 12:20 p.m. Officer will check.

A suspicious person was reported on Saturday at 1:04 p.m. at 158 Moulton Drive. Officer reports person or motor vehicle checked out.

Caller reported an unwanted party in the Bali Hai parking lot on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Officer reports the man’s vehicle is disabled.

Employee from Pia said a man has been coming into the store and talking to her inappropriately on Saturday 1:30 p.m.

Employee from Temazcal at 500 Market St. reports a difficult customer refuses to leave on Saturday at 10:09 p.m. Officer reports customer is leaving in an Uber without incident.

Medical Aid

Ambulance requested at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. for an elderly woman who fell on Friday at 7:06 a.m. Patient taken to the hospital.

Call for an ambulance at Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. at 5:42 p.m. Friday. Call handled by the Fire Department. Patient refused assistance.

On Friday at 6:36 p.m. request for an ambulance at 27 Wing Road. Patient taken to the Lahey Medical Clinic.

Request for an ambulance at 55 Summer St. on Friday at 8:57 p.m. Patient taken to Union Hospital.

Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St. requested an ambulance on Friday at 9 p.m. Patient taken to Lahey Clinic.



A report of a syringe on the roadway at Everett Paine Boulevard and Lafayette Street at 11:38 a.m. Sunday.

A report of a boat washed up on Village Street at 1:03 p.m. Sunday.

A report of a tree down and partially blocking the street on Glendale Road at 2:44 p.m. Sunday.

A report of a tree branch into a car on Marion Road at 3:19 p.m. Sunday.



A minor hit and run motor vehicle crash was reported on Friday at 3:51 p.m. at 108 Lynn St. Suspect vehicle was a newer black sedan occupied by men who fled toward Washington Street. Officer reports area checked but unable to locate suspect vehicle.

Caller reports her car was struck and the second vehicle fled into Danvers on Friday at 6:51 p.m. Officer spoke with the reporting party who had no information on the other vehicle.

A hit and run crash was reported by a caller on Friday at 10:52 p.m. in the parking lot at 116 Main St. Officer will follow up.

A two-car motor vehicle crash at 2 Buttonwood Lane at 48 Andover St., on Saturday at 12:44 p.m. No injuries. Officer will document.

Pedestrian struck by a car on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. at 2 Pierpont St. and 133 Main St. Officer reports party taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

A motor vehicle crash was reported on Saturday at 2:18 p.m. at 192 Main St. and 2 Howley St. Vehicles pulled over at 165 Boston St. Officer reports parties exchanged paperwork, no injuries, no tows needed.

Report of a motor vehicle crash at 28 Mason St. on Saturday at 2:44 p.m.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Saturday at 2:59 p.m. with injury at 2 Mt. Pleasant St. and 252 Andover St.

Walk-in reported a hit and run crash on Saturday at 5:12 p.m. at 29 Howley St. and 93 Walnut St. Police are investigating.

Motor vehicle crashed into a house on Saturday at 10:58 p.m. Officer reports Arrington Tow notified. No structural damage, but damage to bushes and gutter.

Motor vehicle crash reported on Sunday at 11:13 a.m. at 16 Silverleaf Way. Officer will document.

Car and motorcycle crash reported at 79 Lynn St. and 2 Brown St. on Sunday at 12:37 p.m. Officer reports operator of motorcycle taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, road closed.


Complaint of a motor vehicle parked on the sidewalk at 167 Lynn St. on Friday at 3:12 p.m.

Woman reported harassment from her neighbor at the Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. on Friday at 4:26 p.m. Officer will document and advised party to seek assistance at court.

Caller reported a red backpack was found at Rassin Park on Friday at 5:54 p.m. Officer took possession of backpack which contained flag football equipment.

Woman from the Tannery Apartments at Crowninshield St., Apt. 313 reported a neighbor across the hall slamming doors and making vulgar noises on Friday at 7:41 p.m. Officer will document.

Caller reported a tall, suspicious man wearing a baseball cap walking in and out of driveways near 47 Coleman St. and 18 Douglas St. on Friday at 7:56 p.m.

Report of debris in the roadway at 278 Lynnfield St. and 2 Antonio Drive on Friday at 11:17 p.m.

A loud party at 54 Ellsworth Road was reported on Saturday at 12:09 a.m. Officer reports all is quiet.  



Serhii Kachailov, 25, of 650 Ocean Ave., Apt. 430, was arrested and charged with domestic assault or domestic assault and battery.


A report of a motor vehicle accident on Winthrop Avenue at 3:37 p.m. Sunday; on Squire Road at 7:56 a.m. Sunday; at VFW Parkway at 1:02 p.m. Sunday.


A report of a domestic disturbance on Mill Street at 1:33 a.m. Sunday; on North Shore Road at 2:45 p.m.



Anthony S. Vernaci, 27, of 56 Humphrey St., Swampscott, was arrested on warrant charges.

Christopher Francis Barthelmes, 23, of 2 Rice St., Apt. 106, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, larceny from a person, and intimidating a witness, juror, police, or court official.

A caller reported her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend came to Footaction to fight her at 8:56 p.m. Friday.

A report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on Hamilton Street at 7:40 p.m. Friday.

A report of a man crossing the street carelessly at Hamilton Street and Lincoln Avenue at 8:24 a.m. Sunday.

A report of a bag of garbage on the inside lane of Route 1 near Bob’s Store at 3:35 p.m. Sunday.


A report of a shoplifting at Marshalls on Broadway at 10:09 a.m. Friday.

A caller reported her truck was stolen with the keys in it at the Saugus Public Library on Central Street at 7:36 p.m. Saturday.



A report of vandalism to a motor vehicle at 778 Humphrey St. at 10:04 p.m. Friday.

A report of a fight on Cherry Court on Friday at 11:35 p.m. Friday.
