A walk-in reported at 1:17 p.m. on Tuesday that a ring was stolen during an open house, between Sept. 2 and Oct. 12, on Bayview Road.
A caller reported vehicles speeding up and down Tedesco Street and Longview Drive at 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated she was almost struck by three vehicles.
A caller reported she watched a car “blow by” the crossing guard at West Shore Drive and Cornell Road at 2:37 p.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated the driver came very close to striking the crossing guard and was able to provide officers with a description. Responding officers spoke with the erratic driver and advised her to pay better attention.
A walk-in reported at 2:54 p.m. on Tuesday that the “man with the sign” was at Atlantic Avenue and Commercial Street. They stated the sign was hate speech but officers advised it is the man’s Constitutional right to hold the sign.
A caller reported three men walking up Atlantic Avenue toward Hawkes Street at 2:59 p.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated “he has seen them all over town and has never seen them in 40 years.” He stated they have done nothing wrong but he thinks it is odd.
A caller reported a noisy truck on Atlantic Avenue that was cleaning up the beach. She stated at 4:04 p.m. on Tuesday that the truck was giving her a headache. Officers advised her that the time of day was not unreasonable for a truck to be working at the beach.
A caller reported there were about six kids on a golf cart speeding up the tracks at Richard Road and Elizabeth Road going toward the post office at 7:31 p.m. on Tuesday.

Taryn N. Morrissey, 39, of 10 Howard St., Apt. 35, Salem was arrested on Tuesday at 3:08 p.m. and charged with possession of a Class E substance, and shoplifting from 7-Eleven at 115 Main St.
Leonardo Claudio Forte, 54, of 135 Ward St., Apt. 112, Revere was arrested on Wednesday at 1:27 p.m. following a traffic stop at 36 Bartholomew St. and 2 Bartholomew Terrace and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle with a revoked license and registration.
Summons
Sandra Niz, 24, of 571 Western Ave. was issued a summons to appear in court following a traffic stop at the Peabody School Administration building at 27 Lowell St. on Wednesday at 1:13 p.m. and charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

A motor vehicle crash was reported on Wednesday at 5:36 a.m. at Route 128 and Forest Street. All parties declined ambulance. Officer reports one operator was cited for a red light violation.
On Wednesday at 8:04 a.m. a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries at 286 Washington St. and 2 Granite St. One party was taken to the North Shore Medical Center.
Man walked in the police station on Wednesday at 3:16 p.m. to report his vehicle was broken into and a $460 iPad was stolen near 30 Tremont St. in Salem. The Salem Police Department was asked to check the area.

A well-being check was requested on Tuesday at 4:43 p.m. at Stop & Shop Supermarket on Howley Street for a party that was passed out in a motor vehicle in the parking lot. Officer reports party was sleeping and did not need medical assistance.
Caller reported an unwanted party on Tuesday at 5:29 p.m. at 16 Fulton St. Officer spoke with both parties who said they had an argument over work that needed to be done. Parties separated for the night and officer will document.
