Arrests

Adrian Ball, 28, was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm weapon, firearm violation with one prior violent or drug offense and trespassing at 2:29 a.m. Saturday.

Lauren Bates was arrested on a warrant charge of assault and battery on a person 60 or older/disabled at 12:14 p.m. Saturday.

Christian Garcia, of 37 Adams St., was arrested on a warrant charge of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery at 2:44 p.m. Saturday.

Carlos Gonzalez, 20, of 10 Anderson Lane, was arrested and charged with failure to stop/yield and on warrant charges of miscellaneous municipal ordinance violation, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and failure to wear a seat belt at 4:36 a.m. Sunday.

Gelacio Perez-Hernandez, 25, of 369 Chatham St., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and motor vehicle operator refuses to identify self at 9:49 p.m. Saturday.

Mark Scaffe, 39, of Tonawanda St., Dorchester, was arrested on a courtesy booking at 10:48 a.m. Friday.

Od Suggs, 54, of 10 Fosyte St., Chelsea, was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, improper operation of a motor vehicle and speeding at 2:57 a.m. Sunday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:06 a.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street.

Complaints

A caller reported at 7:50 a.m. Friday at Lincoln Avenue and Green Street that she makes a dump run every morning. She goes Creesy to Green and feels the crossing guard should be waiting near the mailbox so he has a better visual on the kids waiting to cross.

A caller complained about Bell School parents parking their cars in the crosswalks at the rear of the school at 10:59 a.m. Friday at Dartmouth and Colgate roads. She said the parents don’t understand or don’t care and have been parking there for a month.

A caller reported he was bringing in his groceries and a neighbor was backing out of the driveway and gave him the finger at 1:20 p.m. Friday on Chestnut Street. The man told police he knows there’s nothing illegal about this, but that it was the second time his neighbor has given him the finger. The man was advised by police that the incident would be documented.

A report of a used smoke grenade in the woods at 1:46 p.m. Friday on Wyman Road. Two young boys came into the police station to report the grenade was in the woods above Seaside Park. Police checked the area, but couldn’t find it.

A woman was reportedly driving about 8 mph and going all over the road at 6:38 p.m. Friday at Atlantic Avenue and Phillips Street. A second caller reported being concerned about the wellbeing of the elderly female driver. The car was stopped and the driver was cited for marked lanes violation. The woman’s daughter called in and told police her mother was stubborn and does not take responsibility.

A woman reported seeing a flashing light on a house on Hillside Avenue at 6:21 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area and didn’t find any flashing lights.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:16 p.m. Friday at 137 Lowell St. and 91 Endicott St.; at 7:52 p.m. Friday at McDonald’s at 133 Main St.; at 3:53 p.m. Saturday at 310 Lowell St. and Route 128 North; at 5:23 p.m. Saturday at 60 Andover St.; at 1:50 p.m. Sunday at 187 Lynn St.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 5 p.m. Saturday at 137 Lowell

St. and 91 Endicott St. The people involved declined medical attention. Katy Garcia-Villalona, 29, of 50 Warren St., Apt 122, was summoned for leaving the scene of personal injury; at 9:10 p.m. Saturday at Emerson Park at 27 Perkins St. A vehicle was on its side. The female driver was taken to Salem Hospital.

A report of a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle at 7:09 p.m. Saturday at 7-Eleven on Lowell Street. A caller reported he struck a pedestrian while driving. The person was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. The Department of Public Works was notified for debris and fluids in the roadway. Officers shut down school at Lowell Street and Perkins Street.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a breaking and entering at 8:18 a.m. Saturday at Armando’s Auto Detailing at 241 Newbury St. The owner reported his business was broken into overnight with entry gained through the back door and $8,000 worth of tools taken.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 3:26 p.m. Friday at Cedar Grove Cemetery at 100R Cedar Grove Ave. A caller reported a suspicious person in the cemetery near the meadow side. The man was reportedly looking at graves; at 6:16 p.m. Saturday at Peabody Municipal Light Plant at 201 Warren St. A PMLP employee reported a red “Patriot Tree” truck drove up, circled the building, parked down the hill and the driver got out, urinated and then left the scene. The caller reported all of the activity was caught on camera. An officer planned to follow up with the company of the truck.

A report of a disturbance at 6:42 p.m. Friday at 30 Columbia Blvd. A caller reported three to four people yelling at each other in the middle of the street. Benjamin F. Talbot Jr., 60, was summoned for threat to commit crime.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 4:25 a.m. Sunday at Javelin 21 Mobile at 10 Birchwood Ave. A caller reported a vehicle had been driving around the neighborhood multiple times.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 8:27 a.m. Sunday at Bagel World on Newbury Street. The man was taken to Salem Hospital.

Theft

A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 9:28 a.m. Saturday on Lakeland Park Drive.

A report of a larceny at 1:53 p.m. Saturday at Foster Convenience Store at 101A Foster St. Someone reported a stolen cellphone.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 6:51 p.m. Friday at Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. A caller reported receiving a call from his neighbor that his former girlfriend was inside his unit smashing the walls with a hammer. Police reported there was no damage and the concerns appeared to be unfounded; at 2:34 p.m. Sunday at Symphony Park on Symphony Road. A caller reported there was damage done at the park. A vehicle reportedly drove onto the grass of the parking overnight causing damage.
