BOSTON — Seven Lynn and Peabody residents were indicted by an Essex County grand jury in connection with a major opioid trafficking ring on the North Shore.
The heroin, fentanyl and oxycodone trafficking operation was dismantled this spring as part of a large-scale joint takedown by federal, state and local law enforcement, according to Attorney General Maura Healey’s office.
Thirteen people were arrested in May, but the status of the other six people involved was not clear on Wednesday.
Authorities seized 1.5 kilograms of heroin/fentanyl, 75 grams of cocaine, approximately 2,100 pills and $415,000 following an investigation involving Healey’s Enterprise, Major and Cyber Crimes Division, State Police assigned to the Commonwealth Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team and the attorney general’s office, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Lynn, Beverly, Danvers and Peabody Police departments.
Among those indicted were: Frantz Adolphe, 23, of Lynn, trafficking Oxycodone, 100 grams or more, conspiracy to violate the drug laws; Richard Grullon-Santos, 25, of Lynn, trafficking fentanyl, 10 grams or more, conspiracy to violate drug laws; Lymbel Guerrero, 28, of Peabody, trafficking heroin, 36 grams or more, trafficking Oxycodone, 36 grams or more, trafficking cocaine, 36 grams or more, trafficking fentanyl, 10 grams or more, possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance, fentanyl, conspiracy to violate the drug laws (two counts); Aggeliki Iliopoulos, 27, of Peabody, trafficking Oxycodone, 36 grams or more, conspiracy to violate the drug laws; Gregory Inuyama, 27, of Lynn, possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, Oxycodone, conspiracy to violate drug laws; Nelson Mora, 25, of Lynn, trafficking Oxycodone, 36 grams or more, trafficking heroin, 18 grams or more (four counts), trafficking fentanyl, 10 grams or more, distribution of a Class B substance, Oxycodone, distribution of a Class B substance, fentanyl, conspiracy to violate the drug laws (three counts); Randy Suarez, 30, of Peabody, trafficking heroin, 200 grams or more, possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, Oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance, fentanyl, conspiracy to violate the drug laws (two counts).
Adolphe, Grullon-Santos, Mora and Suarez will be arraigned in Essex Superior Court on Sept. 27; Inuyama will be arraigned in Essex Superior on Oct. 4; and Iliopoulos and Guerrero will be arraigned in Essex Superior Court at a later date.
Inuyama and Mora were also indicted in Bristol County on one count each of trafficking over 100 grams of Oxycodone and will be arraigned in Bristol Superior Court at a later date.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
