Arrests

David Casey, 57, of 100 Willow St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer at 5:36 p.m. Monday.

Kerry Crotty, 39, of 145 Lewis St., was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and receiving a stolen motor vehicle at 2:45 p.m. Monday.

Alexander Jensen, 23, of 100 Willow St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer at 5:27 p.m. Monday.

Adonias Mendez-Esteban, 23, of 86 Woodman St., was arrested on warrant charges of leaving the scene of property damage, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday.

LYNNFIELD

Accidents

Report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 8:45 a.m. on Monday on Broadway. Officer reports incident was handled by the State Police.

On Monday at 12:57 p.m. caller reported a minor motor vehicle crash with property damage at Condon Circle. Officer reports there were no injuries and incident was handled by the State Police.

Report of a motor vehicle crash with property damage was reported on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Condon Circle. Officer reports there were no injuries and State Police were on scene.

Complaints

Caller reported trucks are entering and exiting on Main Street near No. 1385 on Monday at 9:15 a.m.

Accidental fire alarm was reported on Monday at 9:09 a.m. at the Center Village Apartments; at 12:16 p.m. at 1245 Main St. from 3 Grove St.

Medical rescue requested from Sunrise Assisted Living at 55 Salem St., Apt. 213 on Monday at 12:34 p.m. Party taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Report from Summer Street of malicious destruction of property on Monday at 1:24 p.m. Caller said public bench was damaged last week between Thursday and Saturday. Officer reports Department of Public Works notified and extra patrols requested.

A parking violation was reported on Monday at 1:37 p.m. at Lakeview Drive. Caller said trucks parked on the street will cause a traffic problem when school children are dropped off. Officer reports trucks will be gone when school is out.

MARBLEHEAD

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 8:47 a.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported someone might be entering the home. The person was found on the third floor. Police reported the people were contractors on scene.

Theft

A report of stolen property at 9:27 a.m. Monday on Gregory Street. A caller reported she had been working on a blue patio bench and someone stole it overnight. The caller later reported that a neighbor may have witnessed two people carrying her bench.

A caller reported at 12:24 p.m. Monday on Baldwin Road that a staff member had money taken from her wallet last Thursday.

PEABODY

Summons

Cody M. Murphy, 31, of 62 Thompson St., Apt. 2, Amesbury, was issued a summons on Monday at 7:21 p.m. following a fight at 2 Dooling Circle and charged with assault and battery to collect a loan, and assault and battery on a person over 60.

Cindy E. DeFranzo, 43, of 348 Colburn Ave., Dracut, was issued a summons on Monday at 9:30 p.m. following a hit and run crash at 121 Bartholomew St. and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

Accidents

On Monday at 7:22 a.m. there was a report of a motor vehicle crash at 91 Endicott and 137 Lowell streets; at 7:19 p.m. Saturday at 7-Eleven at 100 Lynn St.

A report of a minor motor vehicle crash at 8:31 a.m. Monday at 711 Lowell St. and 36 Patricia Road. One of the operators called back to say they have exchanged papers and were on their way.

Animal Control

Caller left message on Monday at 11:43 a.m. from 5 Park St. reporting his dog, Bianca, was missing. Description matches that of a dog collected by a Good Samaritan. Animal Control officer said message was left for the owner to call back as soon as possible.

On Monday at 12:17 p.m. caller from 123 Lynnfield St. reported that the Shih Tzu he is babysitting escaped the house. Animal Control officer spoke to the finder, Gina, and said it was OK for the officer to provide the dog’s sitter with her telephone number.

Breaking and Entering

Caller reported her daughter’s car at 1 Summit Terrace on Monday at 11:01 a.m. was broken into but nothing was stolen.

Report of an attempted burglary at 1:44 p.m. Sunday at 111 Main St. An attempted breaking and entering to the front door was reported.

Complaints

Medical emergency reported on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. from 300 Brooksby Village Drive. Security reports resident is choking. Patient taken to the Lahey Medical Center.

On Sunday at 6:59 p.m. report of person who fell and has a head injury. Officer reports patient taken to the Lahey Medical Center.

Woman called to report her husband may have had a seizure at the Cedar Pond Village at 1100 Salem St., Apt. 68 on Sunday at 8:05 p.m. Patient taken to Beverly Hospital.

Female withdrawing from alcohol consumption at 20 Longwood Ave. reported she was not feeling well on Sunday at 8:35 p.m. Patient taken to the North Shore Medical Center.

Caller reported friend fell and hit his head at 14B Berry St. on Sunday at 11:17 p.m. Party taken to North Shore Medical Center.

Caller from Central Bakery at 48 Walnut St. reported car parked on the wrong side of the road with New Hampshire plates on Monday at 7:14 a.m. Officer reports area checked, but unable to locate.

Lost wallet found at the Higgins Middle School was turned in on Monday at 9:01 a.m.

Caller from 21 Walnut St. reported illegally parked car with New Hampshire plates on Monday at 9:05 a.m. Officer reports vehicle will be towed by Mallia Towing.

Peabody Municipal Light Plant reported at 201 Warren St. Extension reported a weekend theft on Monday at 10:25 a.m. Officer reports $1,000 worth of copper was stolen, video tape will be checked.

Peabody Veterans Memorial High School reported a 15-year-old boy with dark hair, wearing a green sweatshirt walked away from the school on Monday at 12:04 p.m. Officer reports juvenile was found and returned to school.
