Arrests

Andrew Brown, 20, of 29 Timson St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer and violation of the city knife ordinance at 3:56 p.m. Saturday.

 

Roy Defreitas, 30, of 44 Tudor St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer at 6:57 a.m. Saturday.

 

Joseph Dulcetta, 34, was arrested and charged with Class A drug possession subsequent offense and disorderly conduct at 10:10 p.m. Saturday.

 

Mark Fortes was arrested on warrant charges of wanton destruction of property and malicious damage to a motor vehicle at 11:32 p.m. Saturday.

 

Rolando Garcia, 32, of 30 Rockaway St., was arrested on a courtesy booking at 8:11 a.m. Saturday.

 

Tahmeika Johnson, 24, of 32 Woodman St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer at 6:43 a.m. Saturday.

 

Raymond Pramataris, 39, of 56 River St., Beverly, was arrested on a warrant charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 4:14 p.m. Friday.

 

Amber Smith, of 95 Main St., Peabody, was arrested on warrant charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault to intimidate and malicious destruction of property at 4:43 p.m. Friday.

 

Troy Smith, 22, of 100 Willow St.m was arrested and charged with assault and battery in the presence of a police officer at 6:36 a.m. Saturday.

 

Francisco Tepetilla-Garcia, 30, of 102 Rockaway St., was arrested on a courtesy booking at 8:11 a.m. Saturday.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a breaking and entering at 8:24 a.m. Saturday on Washington Street. Property management reported one of his apartments was broken into the night before and there was marijuana and cocaine straws on the counter.

 

Complaints

A report of a disturbance at 8:12 p.m. Friday on Elm Street. A caller reported a group of kids walking down the street. One of them reportedly threw a rock that landed in her driveway; at 11:13 p.m. Friday on Prospect Street. A caller reported the neighbor downstairs was flipping out, banging doors, screaming and cursing.

A report of syphoned gas at 9:11 a.m. Saturday on Orne Street. A caller thought gas was syphoned out of his vehicle over the weekend. The gas cap was missing from the vehicle.

A caller reported at 10:52 a.m. Saturday on Chestnut Street that he saw a neighbor with garden shears and felt he was going to cut the tomato plant that hangs onto his property. Police reported the tomato plant seems to be the cause of many of the issues and that the caller could just solve the problem by moving the plant as it’s in a pot and not planted in the ground.

Three young men were reportedly dancing on the roof of the vacant estate buildings at 6:10 p.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street.

A caller reported three kids on bikes circling around his car, frightening his kids and harassing motorists in the area at 8:11 p.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street.

 

Theft

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 8:34 a.m. Friday on Green Street. A ring was reported stolen; at 9:39 p.m. Friday on Atlantic Avenue. A customer reportedly took off without paying the bill.

 

NAHANT

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:39 a.m. Friday on Harmony Court. A vehicle with no driver rolled down into a trash truck; at 11:43 p.m. Saturday at Seaside Pizza at 149 Nahant Road.

 

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 11:06 a.m. Saturday at Town Dump on Spring Road. Someone was reportedly taking pictures of birds in the town dump.

A report of juvenile incidents at 3:10 p.m. Saturday at 116 Flash Road. A caller reported a series of ding dong ditches at her residence.

 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 5:25 a.m. Sunday at Tudor Wharf on Wharf Street. A caller reported his skiff was damaged, but was unsure if the damage was intentional or not.

Arrest

Bojan Cangalovic, 23, of 18 Herbert St., Apt. 1, Lynn, was arrested and charged with Class D drug possession with intent to distribute and on a warrant at 10:44 a.m. Sunday.

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 7:07 p.m. Saturday at Northshore Mall at 210N Andover St.; at 1:23 p.m. Sunday at 77 Main St.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 7:19 p.m. Saturday at 7-Eleven at 100 Lynn St.

 

Breaking and Entering

A report of an attempted burglary at 1:44 p.m. Sunday at 111 Main St. An attempted breaking and entering to the front door was reported.

 

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 2:02 a.m. Sunday at Gardner Apartments at 22 Pulaski St. A caller reported that while doing laundry in the basement, someone tried to gain access to the building. Police reported damage was found to a previously broken window; at 2:29 p.m. Sunday at 4 Marion Road. A caller reported a low flying helicopter.

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 12:42 p.m. Sunday at 15 Tara Road. A caller reported her neighbor was blowing leaves onto. Police told the two people involved to stay away from each other.

 

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 8:09 p.m. Saturday on Fulton Street. The person was taken to Salem Hospital.

 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 12:09 p.m. Sunday at 44 Lynnfield St. A caller reported his motor vehicle was vandalized. An officer reported a bottle was thrown against the tailgate.

Ryan Moreno, 29, was arrested and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI liquor at 1:05 a.m. Sunday.
