LYNNFIELD

Arrest

William Swymer, 62, of 7 Vining Court, Woburn, was arrested on Saturday at 7:11 p.m. and charged with failure to stop for police, child endangerment while under the influence, possession of a Class A drug, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs.

Accidents

A motor vehicle crash with property damage was reported on Friday at 11:52 a.m. at Walnut Street by AAA. Officer reports there were no injuries and papers have been exchanged.

A motor vehicle crash was reported on Friday at 7:11 p.m. on Salem Street at Route 128 at Exit 41, 683 Walnut St.

Animal Control

Caller reported a blue pickup truck with dog in cage in the bed of the truck on Friday at 7:42 p.m. Officer reports they were unable to locate.

Complaints

A caller reported a tree down on Main Street between Summer and Essex streets on Saturday at 7:28 a.m. Officer reports Verizon has been notified.

On Saturday at 4:10 p.m., a caller reported a car is blocking his driveway at 32 Vokes Terrace. Officer reports car is not blocking driveway. Car is registered to a neighbor who is moving it.

Caller reported an erratic vehicle on Saturday at 9:16 p.m. on Saunders Road. Officer reports unable to locate vehicle.

Caller reported tires screeching and a verbal argument at 939 Salem St. and 23 Douglass Road on Saturday at 10:02. Officer reports a woman was yelling because she thought she damaged her vehicle after swerving to avoid hitting an animal.

Officer requested on Salem Street where a caller reported kids in the driveway throwing rocks at vehicles on Sunday at 6:31 p.m.. Officer reports a branch had fallen from a tree, no kids in the area.

Owner of Lynnfield Glass at 954 Salem St. reported a car parked in the driveway for an hour that looks suspicious on Sunday at 7:46 p.m. Officer reports it was a reporter from The Boston Globe who was looking to speak with someone.

Neighbor yelling and screaming was reported on Monday at 2:06 a.m. in the Lynnfield Commons at 375 North Broadway.  Officer reports neighbor is not yelling, just being loud but will shut down for the night.

Accident

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 9:44 a.m. Sunday on Nahant Street.

Complaints

A caller reported a man was standing in front of Starbucks with his signs at 8:58 a.m. Sunday on Pleasant Street. The caller was told the man was expressing his freedom of speech.

A report of aggressive mopeds at 9:40 a.m. Sunday on Maple Street.

A caller reported a group of kids were coming and going from a Sevinor Road home at 12:54 p.m. Sunday. The homeowner was notified.

NAHANT

Arrest

Wilfredo A. Delacruz, 21, of 64 Foster St. Apt. 205, Peabody, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and disorderly conduct.

Complaints

A report of an illegally parked car at Forty Steps Lane and Nahant Road at 9:42 p.m. Friday. The car is described as a “tan colored foreign car with a note on the windshield.”

A report of a trailer parked on Harborview Road at 7:55 a.m. Saturday.

A report of a woman on the beach with a dog who won’t leave near the Nahant Coast Guard Station at 8:29 a.m. Saturday. Police report the woman was very uncooperative.

A Trimountain Road resident reported a vehicle parked on the street with the lights on for more than two hours at 11:08 p.m. Saturday. Police report a person in the car going in and out of consciousness. The driver was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and disorderly conduct.

A report of a loud group of kids at Wharf Street and Willow Road at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

PEABODY

Arrests

Mark McCarron, 52, of 30 Elmwood Circle, was arrested on Sunday at 8:45 p.m. following an accident at 46 Bartholomew St. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

John J. Butler, 33, of 65 Converse St., Wakefield, was arrested on Monday at 12:39 a.m. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor for the third time, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Vehicle towed by Four Star Towing.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 4:35 p.m. Sunday at the Kelley Volkswagen storage lot at 151 Andover St. Officer reports there were no injuries and papers were exchanged.

A three-car motor vehicle crash was reported on Sunday at 9:28 p.m. at 38 Central St. and 2 Stevens St. Officer reports operator of second vehicle was warned for failure to yield at a stop sign. Central Street traffic was shut down temporarily. Two operators refused medical attention.

Complaints

A report of a drunk person on Sunday at 3:04 p.m. at the East End Veterans Memorial Park at 45 Walnut St. Man was taken to the Lahey Medical Center.

A bicycle was reported stolen on Sunday at 3:39 p.m. from 74 Franklin St. Officer will document.

Arrests

Thomas Roarke, 57, of 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation.

Javier Besareo Arroyave, 53, of 404 Park Ave., Revere, was arrested on warrant charges.

Cristian A. Carcamo, 25, of 478 Saratoga St., Apt. 1, East Boston, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, number plate violation to conceal ID, uninsured motor vehicle, and unregistered motor vehicle.

Jorge A. Almendarez, 58, of 96 Reservoir Ave., Apt. 3, Revere, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

Edward N. Hurtado, 48, of 146A Newman St., Apt. A, was arrested on warrant charges.

Norvin V. Hernandez-Paz, 20, of 187 Belmont St., Everett, was arrested for violating a city ordinance and disorderly conduct.

Teanisa Marie Dunbar, 36, of 17 Duke St., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested on four counts of breaking and entering into a vehicle or boat during the nighttime for a felony, receiving stolen property valued at less than $1,200, and warrant charges.

Dana McCoullum, 18, of 1050 Tremont St., Roxbury, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, person under 21 possessing liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in violation of special regulations, marked lanes violation, failure to signal, failure to stop for police, and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Overdoses

Arrests

Pedro A. Vargas, 29, of 135 B Winthrop St., Framingham, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and failure to slow down.

Kayser J. Herrera, 22, of 16 Crowninshield St., Apt. 104, Peabody, was arrested on warrant charges.

Accidents

A report of a car into a pole at Newhall Avenue and Main Street at 10:53 a.m. Friday. Police report a USPS mailbox was struck. One person was transported to Salem Hospital and summonsed for charges of operating under the influence.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at Walmart on Broadway at 1:31 p.m. Friday; at 401 Main St. at 10:20 p.m. Friday; on 107 Southbound at 7:40 a.m. Saturday; at Square One Mall on Broadway at 4:10 p.m. Saturday; at Newhall and Wendell streets at 10:53 p.m. Sunday.

Complaints

A report of an abandoned motor vehicle at Walmart on Broadway at 8:07 a.m. Friday.

A caller reported she was getting vulgar, disturbing text messages over a business transaction on Cleveland Avenue at 10:13 a.m. Friday.

A caller reported her dog was bitten by another dog at 38 Magnolia St. at 11:29 a.m. Friday.

A caller reported a spare tire fell off a truck and damaged her vehicle on Route 1 South near Papa Gino’s at 4:05 p.m. Friday.

A report of a telephone wire down on Staaf Road at 6:58 p.m. Friday.

A caller reported a motor vehicle was crossing the double lines on Harvard Avenue and going up on the sidewalk at 11:45 p.m. Friday.

A Susan Drive resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of her home “for some time” at 10:57 a.m. Saturday. She further reported the operator, a black male wearing a dress shirt, has been rifling through various car seats and other items in the back of the vehicle for “some time.” The caller claimed the operator stripped down naked and appeared to be washing himself in the street. Police report the vehicle left prior to their arrival.  

A caller reported a man behind the wheel of a vehicle at Dunkin’ Donuts drinking alcohol at 2:39 p.m. Saturday. Police report the owner of the vehicle, a woman, was eating lunch in her vehicle.

A report of a large group of youths all fighting in the street on Elaine Avenue at 11:11 p.m. Saturday. Police report a party has been dispersed.

A report of someone smoking in their room at Holiday Inn Express at 2:33 a.m. Sunday.

A report of a man yelling and causing a disturbance at Sears at the Square One Mall at 1:49 p.m. Sunday.

Theft

A caller reported her wallet was stolen while she was at Panera Bread at 2:23 p.m. Saturday. She then received a notification of someone attempting to make a $4,000 purchase at Best Buy using her card.

A caller reported several females stole merchandise from DSW on Broadway and fled in a van at 4:47 p.m. Sunday.

SWAMPSCOTT

Breaking and Entering

A report of a breaking and entering at 3:15 p.m. Sunday at 114 Puritan Lane; at 6:24 a.m. Monday at 10 Lexington Circle.

Complaint

A report of suspicious activity at 3:18 p.m. Sunday at 136 Ocean Ave.
