Revere’s fun-filled fall festival is this Saturday

REVERE — A Beatles cover band, craft vendors, food trucks, and a beer garden will line Broadway today to kick off fall 2018.

The fall festival will be from noon to 6 p.m. and will include street performers, local food, and merchandise vendors, and a main stage with musicians and comedians.

Ticket to Ride Additionally, a Beatles cover band, will be just one of several acts to take the stage, along with comedians and other musicians.

A “Family Fun Zone” located behind City Hall will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Children can play games and see family-friendly street performers, and inflatables. During this time, vendors will be set up along Broadway with arts and crafts, jewelry, and specialty foods.

Food trucks will be parked along the American Legion Parkway. There will be a beer garden in front of the American Legion with tastes from local breweries.

A segment of Broadway from Winthrop Avenue to the corner of Beach and Fenno streets will be shut to vehicular traffic for this pedestrian-friendly event.

Parking will be made available at the Revere City Hall lot on Winthrop Avenue, Hill School on Park Avenue, and the Revere High School parking lot on School Street.

If the event is rained out, it will be held Sunday instead.
