LYNN — A 34-year-old Lynn man was shot in the back and head on Arlington Street early Thursday morning, but is expected to survive.
Police responded to 51 Arlington St. at 1:30 a.m. Thursday and found the victim on the ground in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds, said Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec.
He was airlifted from the ballfields behind Lynn English High School and brought to Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston with life-threatening injuries. By Thursday afternoon, the victim was out of surgery and stable, said Kmiec.
Kmiec said there is no suspect information at this time, as police have been unable to talk with the victim.
Multiple shell casings were recovered at the scene.
