Amanda Mena continued to wow the celebrity judges on Tuesday night’s episode of “America’s Got Talent.”
She now needs the public to vote so she can make it to the final round, which airs next week.
Lynn’s Golden Buzzer singer performed with a unique rendition of “Happy” by Pharrell. She took the fast-paced song and slowed down the tempo, allowing her vocal skills to take over the stage. Heidi Klum told Mena her stage presence was sophisticated for her young age, Simon Cowell told her it was her best performance yet, and Howie Mandel said she was the whole package.
Melanie ”Mel B” Brown, who hit the Golden Buzzer after Mena’s audition, said Mena’s song choice was very brave, but she killed it.
“Amanda, I just adore you…” said Brown. “I want everyone to vote for my Golden Buzzer.”
Voting began during Tuesday’s episode and ends Wednesday at 7 a.m., with the results being aired at 8 p.m. Six out of the 11 acts who performed will be cut from the talent show, which leaves five slots open for next week’s final round.
