Complaints
A woman reported at 10:26 a.m. Friday on Gerry Street that she was at City Hall in Boston to get some birth certificates for her children. She relayed that she was outside with her bags attempting to hail a cab when someone stole her bags, which contained $850 in cash, her passport and a bank card. She was directed to file a report with Boston Police.
A woman walked in to the police station at 10:58 a.m. Friday to speak with a detective about a case where her neighbor topped one of her trees to give himself a water view. She related that a tree in front of her house is dead and though she has no proof, she suspects her neighbor poisoned the tree. She said her neighbor has cut a huge gap in his hedges so that he can see her house. She also reported her son was packing up his car on the 4th of July and came outside to find the stroller he left by his car covered in dog feces.
A report of suspicious activity at 11:07 p.m. Friday on Elmwood Road. A car was reportedly parked in front of the caller’s house with someone sitting in it.
A report of a suitcase at the beach at 11:05 a.m. Saturday on Ocean Avenue. The suitcase was empty.
A report of a man holding a sign at 3:03 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant and Washington streets. A man was reportedly holding a political sign and freaking people out.
A report of kids on bikes riding cars at 5:41 p.m. Saturday on Washington Street. Kids on bikes were reportedly grabbing cars as they were leaving. The kids abruptly left upon police arrival.
Three kids on bikes reportedly threw a bike into Redds Pond and took off toward Fountain Park at 7:10 p.m. Saturday on Pond Street.
A report of a disturbance at 11:53 p.m. Saturday on Old Salem Road. Lots of smashing could be heard. Police reported someone inside opened a drawer and a bunch of stuff, including dishes, fell out and smashed; at 11:58 p.m. Saturday on Guernsey Street. A caller reported underaged kids were drinking and doing drugs and the whole neighborhood was recording it. The caller reported the kids were laughing at the police.
A caller reported at 3:35 p.m. Sunday on Doaks Lane that there was a group of kids in the area jumping in the water off of a seawall that was damaged in a past storm. She said there was debris there and she was concerned that a kid may end up getting hurt.
Fire
A report of smoke from a boat with no flames at 2:13 p.m. Saturday at Marblehead Harbor. A line was thrown to a boat in distress. The harbormaster got the people off the boat.
Overdose
A report of an opioid overdose at 9:11 a.m. Friday on Barnard Hawkes Court.

An officer reported three youths in the area denied being on the roof; at 2:50 p.m. Sunday at JCPenney at 210J Andover St. A man was reportedly taping cars and looking in the car windows; at 6:18 p.m. Sunday on Morgan Road. A man in the woods was reportedly acting suspicious. Police reported the man was walking home from work and was just stopping to rest; at 8:38 p.m. Sunday at Covenant Christian Academy at 83 Pine St. Five males in the woods were reportedly acting suspicious; at 9:12 p.m. Sunday at 4 Putnam St. A caller reported she could hear footsteps upstairs and no one should be there. Police reported there was an open door, but the apartment was empty; at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Acura of Peabody at 233 Andover St. Security reported a person walking through the parking lot looking through cars.

A report of a possible fire behind Peabody Car Wash at 10:11 p.m. Sunday at 27 Central St. An officer reported there were fireworks on fire that he put out with his extinguisher.
A report of a fire outside in the bushes at 12:10 p.m. Monday at 1 Butternut Ave. The fire department knocked down a small fire to one of the bushes. There was no damage to the dwelling.
