Arrests

Kenneth Card Jr., 52, of 50 Andrews St., was arrested and charged with Class B drug possession and violation of the city knife ordinance at 11:20 p.m. Sunday.

Ismael Coronado-Agustin, 32, of 119 Beacon Hill Ave., was arrested and charged with trespassing/park rule at 10:11 p.m. Saturday.

Alexis Gewlas, 36, was arrested on a warrant and charged with Class A drug possession at 11:10 a.m. Friday.

Jerry Giugliano, 41, of 29 Central Ave., was arrested and charged with Class A drug trafficking more than 36 grams at 8:03 p.m. Friday.

James Henley, of 185 North Common St., was arrested on warrant charges of Class B drug possession, shoplifting by concealing merchandise, shoplifting by asportation, carrying a dangerous weapon and miscellaneous municipal ordinance violation at 8:57 a.m. Saturday.

Eric Hernandez, of 383 Eastern Ave., was arrested on warrant charges of three counts of Class A drug distribution and drug violation near a school/park at 2:15 p.m. Friday.

Alfredo Hernandez Reyes, 36, of 23 West Green St., was arrested and charged with two counts of drug possession with intent to distribute at 1:04 a.m. Monday.

Wayner Lopez, 18, of 450A Essex St., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle, possession of liquor by a person under 21, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and impeded operation at 2:32 a.m. Saturday.

Sender Pojoy-Chiguichon, 26, was arrested and charged with trespassing/park rule at 10:06 p.m. Saturday.

Christina Portalla, 25, of 540 Revere Beach Blvd., Revere, was arrested and charged with special speeding violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 11:24 p.m. Sunday.

Zachary Sloan, 20, of 159 Western Ave., was arrested and charged with two counts of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor, trespassing and Class B drug possession at 2:28 p.m. Sunday.

Jesus Ulario, 27, 68 Orchard St., was arrested and charged with attempt to commit crime and trespassing at 10:53 a.m. Friday.

Brandon Wright, 34, was arrested on warrant charges of shoplifting by asportation and Class A drug possession at 2 p.m. Friday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:31 p.m. Friday on Atlantic Avenue; at 3:07 p.m. Sunday on Pleasant Street.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 8:54 p.m. Sunday on Front Street.

 

Complaints

A woman reported at 10:26 a.m. Friday on Gerry Street that she was at City Hall in Boston to get some birth certificates for her children. She relayed that she was outside with her bags attempting to hail a cab when someone stole her bags, which contained $850 in cash, her passport and a bank card. She was directed to file a report with Boston Police.

A woman walked in to the police station at 10:58 a.m. Friday to speak with a detective about a case where her neighbor topped one of her trees to give himself a water view. She related that a tree in front of her house is dead and though she has no proof, she suspects her neighbor poisoned the tree. She said her neighbor has cut a huge gap in his hedges so that he can see her house. She also reported her son was packing up his car on the 4th of July and came outside to find the stroller he left by his car covered in dog feces.

A report of suspicious activity at 11:07 p.m. Friday on Elmwood Road. A car was reportedly parked in front of the caller’s house with someone sitting in it.

A report of a suitcase at the beach at 11:05 a.m. Saturday on Ocean Avenue. The suitcase was empty.

A report of a man holding a sign at 3:03 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant and Washington streets. A man was reportedly holding a political sign and freaking people out.

A report of kids on bikes riding cars at 5:41 p.m. Saturday on Washington Street. Kids on bikes were reportedly grabbing cars as they were leaving. The kids abruptly left upon police arrival.

Three kids on bikes reportedly threw a bike into Redds Pond and took off toward Fountain Park at 7:10 p.m. Saturday on Pond Street.

A report of a disturbance at 11:53 p.m. Saturday on Old Salem Road. Lots of smashing could be heard. Police reported someone inside opened a drawer and a bunch of stuff, including dishes, fell out and smashed; at 11:58 p.m. Saturday on Guernsey Street. A caller reported underaged kids were drinking and doing drugs and the whole neighborhood was recording it. The caller reported the kids were laughing at the police.

A caller reported at 3:35 p.m. Sunday on Doaks Lane that there was a group of kids in the area jumping in the water off of a seawall that was damaged in a past storm. She said there was debris there and she was concerned that a kid may end up getting hurt.

 

Fire

A report of smoke from a boat with no flames at 2:13 p.m. Saturday at Marblehead Harbor. A line was thrown to a boat in distress. The harbormaster got the people off the boat.

 

Overdose

A report of an opioid overdose at 9:11 a.m. Friday on Barnard Hawkes Court.

 

Theft

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 3:26 p.m. Friday on Rowland Street. A food basket was reported stolen.

 

PEABODY

Arrest

Luis E. Espinal-Castillo, 24, of 149 Washington St., Apt. 3, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 10:01 p.m. Sunday.

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 4:27 p.m. Saturday at 54 Walnut St. and 2 Upton St.; at 5:46 p.m. Saturday at Macy’s at 210M Andover St. A driver had a diabetic reaction and crashed into a parked vehicle. He was taken to Lahey Hospital and his car was towed; at 11:34 p.m. Saturday at 182 Lynn St. and 1 Linden Road; at 11:14 a.m. Monday at 1 Dahlia Ave. A vehicle reportedly rolled into the front steps of a house.

 

Complaints

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 4:38 p.m. Saturday at 25 Abington Ave. A caller reported his neighbor threw trash over his fence; at 4:39 p.m. Saturday at Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. A caller reported her neighbors were calling her names; at 7:37 p.m. Saturday at 131 Goodale St. A caller reported a dispute with her neighbors over an air horn. The person involved was advised by police not to blow an air horn when the neighbor’s dog was barking.

A report of suspicious activity at 10:33 p.m. Saturday on Buxton Lane. A caller reported a car driving back and forth on the street with one headlight brighter than the other; at 11:35 p.m. Friday at Shaw’s Supermarket at 210S Andover St. A caller reported someone running around on the roof. An officer reported three youths in the area denied being on the roof; at 2:50 p.m. Sunday at JCPenney at 210J Andover St. A man was reportedly taping cars and looking in the car windows; at 6:18 p.m. Sunday on Morgan Road. A man in the woods was reportedly acting suspicious. Police reported the man was walking home from work and was just stopping to rest; at 8:38 p.m. Sunday at Covenant Christian Academy at 83 Pine St. Five males in the woods were reportedly acting suspicious; at 9:12 p.m. Sunday at 4 Putnam St. A caller reported she could hear footsteps upstairs and no one should be there. Police reported there was an open door, but the apartment was empty; at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Acura of Peabody at 233 Andover St. Security reported a person walking through the parking lot looking through cars.

A report of operating under the influence of drugs at 12:17 p.m. Sunday at 142 Forest St. Christel Robin Iwohn, 54, of 6 Herrick Court, Gloucester, was summoned for OUI drugs.

A report of a disturbance at 10:01 p.m. Sunday at 149 Washington St. A woman reported the father drove away with his child toward Lynn. Luis E. Espinal-Castillo, 24, was arrested.

 

Fire

A report of a mulch fire at 4:48 p.m. Saturday at 10 Centennial Drive.

A report of a trash barrel on fire at 11:36 p.m. Saturday on Emerson Avenue.

A report of a possible fire behind Peabody Car Wash at 10:11 p.m. Sunday at 27 Central St. An officer reported there were fireworks on fire that he put out with his extinguisher.

A report of a fire outside in the bushes at 12:10 p.m. Monday at 1 Butternut Ave. The fire department knocked down a small fire to one of the bushes. There was no damage to the dwelling.

 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 4:06 p.m. Saturday at 15 Longstreet Road. A caller reported his house was egged; at 10:27 a.m. Sunday at 15 Bartholomew Terrace. Possible damage to a bow window was reported.
