A Wharf Street resident reported an out-of-town vehicle parking near his house in the mornings for two years at 7:17 a.m. Friday. The caller wants the car ticketed.

A Spouting Horn Road resident reported his trash had not been picked up for two weeks at 11:28 a.m. Friday.

A report of a political sign affixed to the community announcement board on Nahant Road at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The caller stated that this was a bylaw violation.

A caller on Nahant Road wanted to know who removed a sign from the announcement board at 6:15 p.m. Friday. Police reported that they had removed the sign. The caller requested to know who complained about the sign. Police told the caller that this was a bylaw violation to have a political sign posted on the community board. A short time later, the caller called again to request the sign be reposted.

A White Street resident reported that the trash was not picked up on his street at 5:58 a.m. Saturday. A second caller reported nobody on White Street had their trash picked up at 12:31 p.m. Saturday.

An Ocean Street resident reported a car was parked too close to the intersection, creating a hazard at 1:26 p.m. Saturday.

A Range Road resident reported a white minivan he was unfamiliar with was parked across the street from his house at 6:18 p.m. Saturday.

A report of a convertible moving at a high rate of speed on Willow Road at 8:13 a.m. Sunday.

A report of a dead seal washing up on the cove on Nahant Road at 11:26 p.m. Sunday. The Harbor Master attempted to get the dead seal back into the water.

A Lynn resident visiting Short Beach reported people openly drinking on the beach at 2:20 p.m. Sunday.

A report of a group of young kids smoking marijuana in the parking area near Marginal Road and Hood Street at 5:08 p.m. Sunday. The caller reported the kids didn’t look like they were from town and seemed to be up to no good.

A caller reported he was stuck on a sandbar in the Lynn Harbor about 800 to 1,000 feet from the causeway at 6:10 p.m. Sunday.




Altair C. Desouza, 41, of 25 Morton St. Apt. 315, Quincy, was arrested on warrant charges.


Felipe Drumond, 27, of 561 Hollis St. Apt. 1, Framingham, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery.


Melissa Victoria Richardson, 30, of 74011 St. Catherine St., Corpus Christi, Texas, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.


Sarah E. Christopher, 25, of 590 Middle St., Weymouth, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise at Target on Furlong Drive.

A Church Street resident reported a man knocked on her door a few times and took pictures of her house at 1:11 p.m. Saturday. She further reported there was a black pickup truck in front of her house. Police spoke to the man, who was a private contractor that her husband hired.
