DANVERS – The Revolutionary Theater Company, comprised of many Lynn residents, will present “I Want To Be A Musketeer” August 25, 5:30 p.m.; August 26, 3 p.m.; Sept. 1, 5:30 p.m.; and Sept. 2, 3 p.m. at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead, 149 Pine St.
“I Want to Be a Musketeer” is the story of the Three Musketeers, focusing on D’Artagnan. Follow these characters as they make their way through France and the very play itself. The talented and comedic cast creates a new spin on the timeless tale.
Cast members include: Rob Mantegani, Carlton Powers, Josh Madruga, Joey Phoenix, Amanda Collins, Rylan Brooks Workman, Jon Workman, Irene Axelrod, Matt Lundergan and Josh Black, who is also the director and writer. The stage manager is Naomi Olofson-Black. Producers are Thera Driscoll and Naomi Olofson-Black.
The Danvers Alarm List Company, which is hosting the event, is a group of 18th century living history reenactors who portray the militia, minute and alarm companies of Danvers and surrounding communities as they existed in 1774 and 1775. The Alarm List Company presents its impression to the public through demonstrations, exhibitions, parades, living history encampments, and battle reenactments.
