Arrests

Victor Amarante, 28, of 21 East Park Ave., was arrested and charged with heroin trafficking more than 18 grams and drug possession with intent to distribute at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Kevin Biasetti, of 27 Perkins St., was arrested on a warrant charge of intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Jhon Brito-Santos, 25, of 81 Gardiner St., was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and drug possession with intent to distribute at 12:56 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Francis Casey, 66, of 39 Amity St., was arrested and charged with trespassing at 9:14 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Nicholas Hernandez, 28, of 4 Andover Drive, Peabody, was arrested on warrant charges of Class A drug possession, Class B drug possession, Class C drug possession and Class E drug possession at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Patrick Kayulu, 41, was arrested and charged with violation of the open container law at 6:11 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Gina Masella, 35, was arrested and charged with nighttime breaking and entering for a felony, larceny from building and arrestee furnishing false ID info at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday.

 

David Polito, 26, was arrested and charged with violation of the city knife ordinance, larceny, larceny from building and Class E drug possession at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Eddie Sanchez, 33, of 37 Wardwell Ave., was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, failure to stop for police, disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday.

MARBLEHEAD

 

Accidents

A caller reported a truck hit a tree at Atlantic Avenue and Hewitt Street at 10:54 a.m. on Tuesday. Responding units found debris and glass on the road and requested the tree department come and clean it up.

 

A caller reported a motor vehicle crash at Old Salem Road and Clipper way at 1:51 p.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated there were car parts all over the road, heading down the hill from Lafayette Street towards Tedesco Street. Responding officers notified Highway for a cleanup.

 

Complaints

A caller at 8:12 a.m. on Tuesday reported her husband discovered someone had opened five Wells Fargo bank accounts under his name and social security number. The caller stated they are not out any money but she just wanted the incident logged. Officers advised them to notify the credit bureaus and contact the department again if they are out of money.

 

A caller, an employee at the Barnacle, reported a truck being stuck at Fort Sewall at 11:42 a.m. on Tuesday. Traffic was redirected to Selman Street until the truck was out of the way.

 

A caller reported an odd smell in her house at Shetland Road at 6:13 p.m. on Tuesday.

 

A caller reported a male was knocking on his door at Atlantic Avenue after arriving home at 7:24 p.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated he found the male’s behavior odd and when he interacted with him he said he was “a chef in New York and he was just going down the coast.” The caller said he was concerned given the recent activity on the neck.

 

A caller reported someone with a high powered light has been flashing it into houses near Lee Street at 8:38 p.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated this is the fifth time this has happened and they described the party as having white hair, but couldn’t decipher if it was a male or female.

 

A report came in from a caller complaining about loud construction noise near Sewall Street at 6:24 a.m. on Wednesday.

 

PEABODY

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday at Party City at 300 Andover St.; at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday at 78 Lynnfield St.

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday at 21 Beckett St. and 8 Osborne St. At least two people were taken to Salem Hospital.

 

Breaking and Entering

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 6:32 a.m. Wednesday at 113 Goodale St. A vehicle was broken into and a wallet was found in the bushes.

A report of a breaking and entering at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Poodles N Pals Stylist at 23 ½ Tremont St. A caller reported her business was broken into overnight. Multiple checks were stolen out of the register. Hot pink clippers were stolen as well.

 

Complaints

A report of a disturbance at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday on Roosevelt Avenue. Five juveniles were reportedly riding bikes in the middle of the street being rude to drivers. An officer informed them to stay out of the street.

A report of suspicious activity at 8:12 p.m. Tuesday at 5 Bragg St. Juveniles were reportedly starting a fire in the fire pit.

 

Theft

A report of a larceny at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday at 210 Washington St.

A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 6:42 a.m. Wednesday at 139 Goodale St.

Arrest

Larchilles Bruton, 35, was arrested and charged with failure to stop or yield and operating with a revoked license as a habitual traffic offender at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday.
