Arrests

Christopher Al-Nabulsi, 28, of 80 Park St., was arrested and charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of ammo without a firearm identification card and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 8:27 p.m. Saturday.

Francis Casey, 66, of 39 Amity St., was arrested and charged with violation of the open container law, violation of a harassment prevention order, and on warrant charges of four counts of violation of a harassment prevention order, violation of an abuse prevention order, malicious wanton property defacement, trespassing and assault with a dangerous weapon at 4:21 p.m. Friday.

William Harrison, of 126 Union St., was arrested on warrant charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official at 3:16 p.m. Friday.

Shane Johnson, 39, was arrested on warrant charges of trespassing, Class E drug possession, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, shoplifting by asportation, armed robbery, assault and battery on a pregnant victim, using a motor vehicle in a felony/larceny at 4:26 p.m. Friday.

Sony Marquez, of 42 Bulfinch St., was arrested on a warrant charge of rape of child with force at 7:43 a.m. Sunday.

Javier Pimentel, 23, of 23 Lexington St., was arrested and charged with speeding, receiving a stolen motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 4:43 p.m. Saturday.

Anna Todd-Herrick, of 6 Pinkham Place, was arrested on warrant charges of refusing to produce a DNA database sample and shoplifting by asportation at 10:24 a.m. Saturday.

Brandon Wright, 34, was arrested on a warrant charge of Class A drug possession at 3:07 a.m. Sunday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 2:43 p.m. Friday on Atlantic Avenue.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 7:30 p.m. Friday on Gregory Street.

 

Assaults

A report of an assault at 10:38 a.m. Saturday on Broughton Road. A caller reported his neighbor/friend left a shovel in his yard and he brought it back over to their yard. He said he tossed it in the yard and his friend’s mother was sitting outside. The mother claimed he threw the shovel at her and assaulted her. Police reported there was no assault.

 

Complaints

A report of drag racing at night at 10:45 a.m. Friday on Seaview Avenue. A caller reported that on the past few nights, there had been a car drag racing on Seaview from Atlantic toward Humphrey Street.

A report of a man talking to a boy at 5:54 p.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported suspicious activity as a young boy and man were talking to one another. He said the man and boy exchanged something between the two of them and this type of activity had been going on for weeks.

A report of a toilet in the road at 10:28 p.m. Saturday on Atlantic Avenue. DPW removed the toilet.

 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 9:03 a.m. Saturday on Washington Street. A caller reported her plant pots and plant boxes were vandalized on Friday night; at 9:23 a.m. Saturday on Pickett Street. A caller reported her plant pots were ripped apart and broken on Friday night.

Arrests

Joshua Lugwire, 21, of 1000 Lexington St., Apt. 22, Waltham, was arrested and charged with speeding and on warrants at 9:44 p.m. Thursday.

 

Steven T. Stives, 30, of 4 Goddard Drive, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, operating after registration revocation and uninsured motor vehicle at 11:50 p.m. Friday.

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:50 p.m. Friday on Goddard Drive. Steven T. Stives, 30, was arrested.

 

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 7:47 p.m. Friday at East Point Parking Lot. A caller reported two to three divers off East Point without flags or markers. Police reported they were the same people who checked in for permission to dive earlier.

 

Fire

A report of a structure fire at 7:11 p.m. Friday on Karolyn Circle. A caller reported smoke. Police reported smoke on the first floor with entry gained through the back door. No one was home. The fire department reported a burnt pan in the oven.

Amanda L. Bernard, 40, of 18 Murray St., was arrested on a warrant at 10:52 p.m. Saturday.

 

Lucas Sampaio Pimenta, 19, of 4 Overlea Ave., was arrested on a warrant at 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:10 p.m. Friday at Gregory’s Lounge at 50 Walnut St.; at 5:57 p.m. Friday at 44 Oak St. and 47 Washington St. A female passenger was taken to Lahey Hospital; at 10:38 a.m. Saturday at Petco at 10 Sylvan St.; at 11:56 a.m. Sunday at 162 Washington St.; at 12:57 a.m. Sunday on Forest Street. A car into a pole was reported. One person was taken to Lahey Hospital.

A report of a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle at 6:50 p.m. Friday at 168 Main St. Two juveniles were hit. Alexandre Lopes, 40, of 54 Mason St., Salem, was summoned for operating with an expired license and failure to use care in starting/stopping/turning

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 5:42 a.m. Sunday at 29 Pierpont St.

 

Assaults

A report of an assault and battery at 7:44 p.m. Saturday on Bragg Street.

 

Breaking and Entering

A report of a breaking and entering at 4:08 p.m. Friday at 7221 Crane Brook Way. A stolen ring was reported; at 4:12 a.m. Saturday at 10 Stacia Road. A homeowner arrived home from vacation and found his home was broken into; at 2:29 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Grille at 3 First Ave. A caller reported the business was broken into. An officer reported the screen to a side window was removed; at 4:57 p.m. Sunday at Mark’s Snow Removal at 460 Lowell St. A caller reported he thought his brother came and took a ladder from the house. There were no signs of anyone being inside the house; at 12:01 p.m. Sunday at Pho Paris at 136 Newbury St. Forced entry to the back door was reported with $70 from the register and the box for the camera system taken.

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 8:54 a.m. Saturday at 21 Bowen Road; at 10:24 a.m. Saturday at 27 Longview Way. Taken was $9,000 in cash, an iPad and other items. The owner called back and reported he was under a lot of stress and he located his belongings that he thought were stolen; at 10:52 a.m. Saturday at 26 Longview Way. Gucci sunglasses and a Louis Vuitton bag were taken last Sunday.

 

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 6:54 a.m. Saturday at 26 Forest St. An officer was flagged down and alerted to a cooler containing knives and alcohol. The items were disposed of.

A report of a disturbance at 8:05 p.m. Saturday at McDonald’s at 133 Main St. A caller reported witnessing a man snatch a bag of McDonald’s food from another person.

 

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 12:20 p.m. Saturday on Gwinnett Road. The woman was taken to Union Hospital; at 12:40 p.m. Sunday on Bartholomew Terrace. The person was taken to Lahey Hospital.

 

Theft

A report of a larceny at 4:31 p.m. Friday at Key Masters at 215 Newbury St.; at 11:08 a.m. Saturday at Victoria’s Secret at 210V Andover St.; at 3:18 p.m. Saturday at Winn Residential/Brown School Residences at 200 Lynn St. A package was stolen and a neighbor admitted to taking it.

 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 4:34 p.m. Friday at 37 Murray St.; at 7:34 a.m. Saturday at 9 Elm St. A car was keyed.
