Arrests

Jaynell Bailey, 32, of 102 Hanover St., was arrested on a warrant charge of sexual conduct for a fee at 10:46 a.m. Wednesday.

Rafael Dejesus, 30, of 16 Glenwood Road, was arrested on a warrant charge of violation of the city knife ordinance at 2:33 p.m. Tuesday.

Patrick Kayulu, 41, was arrested and charged with violation of the open container law at 10:51 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of a suspicious person at 11:06 a.m. Tuesday at 5 Fernway. A suspicious person was reportedly going door to door the previous day; at 1:06 a.m. Wednesday on Maple Street.

Complaints

A caller reported someone dumped trash and it was all over the road at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday at Evans Road and West Shore Drive. The caller was trying to clean it up but reported he was almost hit by a car twice.

Gary Brewster, 63, of 18 Lemon St., Apt. 1, Salem, was summoned for an expired license; at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday at 2 First Ave.; at 1:27 p.m. Wednesday at 147 Summit St. and Lynnfield Street; at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at 246 Lowell St.

A report of a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle at 5:29 p.m. Tuesday at Macy’s at 210M Andover St.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a breaking and entering at 9:33 a.m. Wednesday at 14 Kernwood Road. A caller reported an active breaking and entering while she was home.

 

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday at 118R Central St. Police received a message from their “My Police Department” phone app about neighborhood concerns, which read a man was looking into mailboxes and bothering people for money. He reportedly hid around a corner when he saw a police vehicle coming.

 

Fire

A report of a structure fire at 6:24 p.m. Tuesday at Citizen’s Inn at 25 Holten St. An officer reported the manager relayed the dirty stove started the smoke in the kitchen.

 

Theft

A report of a larceny at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at Winn Residential/Brown School Residences at 200 Lynn St. A neighbor reportedly stole a package.

 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday at 19 Felton St. A caller reported an unknown person damaged their bulkhead door. The owner reported someone had tried to gain entry earlier that day.

Arrests

Michael B. Belt, 33, of 303 Saratoga St. Apt. 1, Boston, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation and possession of a Class C drug.

Juan Jose Pimentel-Vargas, 31, of 37 Dehon St. Apt. 3, was arrested and charged with providing a false name during booking and warrant charges.

Deng Monykuc, 28, of 498 Essex St. Apt. 112, Lynn, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and shoplifting by asportation.
