Lynnfield police remind residents to lock their cars

LYNNFIELD — Following a rash of car break-ins on Tuesday and Wednesday, police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles.

“Don’t leave anything valuable in your car and always lock it,” said Capt. Karl Johnson.

The crimes, which occurred on Vokes Terrace, Lakeview Drive, and Suntaug Street over a 36-hour period, within minutes of each other in some cases, included the theft of a gold bracelet, according to the police log.

Johnson said the perpetrators may have made their way from Route 128 into the neighborhoods off Main Street.

There are no suspects in custody.
