Mauricio Gomez, of 70 Granite St., was arrested on warrant charges of forgery of check, uttering a false check, larceny over $1,200, and larceny over $1,200 by single scheme at 12:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
Victor Merida, 39, of 180 Essex St., was arrested and charged with alcohol from an open container, operating under the influence of liquor, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 2:04 a.m. on Wednesday.

A caller reported that it appeared a motor vehicle struck the wall on Smith Street and caused damage. Responding officers did confirm damage to the wall at 12:48 p.m. on Tuesday.
Complaints
A caller reported a vehicle was “casing the neighborhood” and stated they were driving slow and repeatedly stopping at Bennett and Puritan roads at 8:18 a.m. on Tuesday.
A walk-in resident reported they were entering their apartment on Central Street to pick up some belongings for her brother, who is in the hospital, and the door and window were open with clothes thrown outside at 9:51 a.m. on Tuesday.
A caller reported a motor vehicle almost forced him off the road and he had an infant in the back of the car at 4:47 p.m. on Tuesday. The caller stated the erratic driver was last seen on Humphrey Street and Leicester Road going toward the high school. Responding officers talked to the accused erratic driver who said she was “brake checking” and the caller honked at her and began yelling out the window. Passengers in her motor vehicle confirmed her story to the responding officers.
