A caller reported there was an intoxicated man on the sand behind Tides Restaurant with several very young children. The caller expressed concern for the children. Police reported there was a man fitting the description sitting on the sand with another man and woman, but there were no children in the area. There were children further down the beach playing in the sand, but they were being attended to by adults.
A caller reported there was a large group of juveniles jumping off the wharf at 6:48 p.m. Friday at Tudor Wharf on Wharf Street. The caller reported the kids were not allowed to jump off the wharf, so why should they.
