Arrests

Malik Alexander, 22, of 54 Elm St., was arrested and charged with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 5:18 p.m. Saturday.

Alexander Cruz, 56, of 8 Chase St., was arrested on warrant charges of motor vehicle use without authority, operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license as a habitual traffic offender, miscellaneous equipment violation and shoplifting by asportation at 12:06 a.m. Saturday.

Edison Forbes, 22, of 395A Ipswich Road, Boxford, was arrested and charged with drug possession with intent to distribute at 1:37 p.m. Friday.

Jackeline Hernandez, 35, of 23 Elm St., was arrested and charged with attempt to commit crime and on warrant charges of assault and battery and unarmed robbery at 1:42 p.m. Friday.

Juvenito Rodriguez, 29, of 119 Beacon Hill Ave., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and reckless operation of a motor vehicle at 11:44 p.m. Saturday.

Karen Stella, 50, of 84 Puritan Road, Swampscott, was arrested and charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle and OUI liquor at 12:47 a.m. Sunday.

James Woodbury, 47, of 258 Parkland Ave., was arrested and charged with violation of the open container law at 5:56 p.m. Saturday.

Complaints

A report of a kitchen knife in the road at 10:48 a.m. Saturday on Elm Street. A man was out jogging and reported seeing a kitchen knife in the road. He wanted it secured

A report of a brawl at 9:20 p.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street. A large group was reported fighting in the street.

A report of a knock on the door at 12:20 a.m. Sunday on Glendale Road. A caller reported she was awakened from sleep by pounding on her door. She didn’t see anything and didn’t think anyone entered the house. Police observed nothing there or in the neighborhood.

Theft

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 12:40 p.m. Saturday on Franklin Street. A caller reported a taxi driver stole her ID the previous day. Police reported the card was found in the taxi on the mirror and it would be returned to her on Monday when the cab drives her to Whole Foods.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 7:14 a.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street; at 3:09 p.m. Saturday on Washington Street. A woman reported her antenna on her company van was cut off.

Aaron Espinosa, 40, of 28 Bayview Ave., Apt. 1, Lynn, was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license subsequent offense at 2:46 p.m. Sunday.

John J. Turcotte, 62, homeless, was arrested and charged with public drinking at 3:33 p.m. Friday.

Assaults

A report of an assault and battery at 4 p.m. Saturday on Tanners Court. A juvenile female reported she was assaulted and that the suspects were two juvenile females. Police reported the juveniles’ stories were contradictory and they were told they could go to juvenile court and file charges if they wished.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 10:55 p.m. Friday at Marriott Hotel at 8A Centennial Drive. A person was reportedly walking around the parking lot and looking into cars; at 10:11 p.m. Saturday at City of Peabody at 50 Coolidge Ave. A person was reportedly smoking marijuana on the city property.

A report of a disturbance at 2:26 p.m. Saturday at Century Bank and Trust at 12 Peabody Square. A man was reportedly threatening to bite someone’s ear; at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at 8 Crowninshield St. A caller reported youths were smoking marijuana in the parking lot.

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 4:44 p.m. Sunday at 34 Keys Drive. A caller complained to police about a neighbor below him constantly banging on the ceiling.

Fire

A report of a structure fire at 10:57 a.m. Saturday at Century House Restaurant at 235 Andover St. A fire at the back door was reported.

Overdoses

A report of an overdose at 6:31 a.m. Sunday on Wheatland Street. The person was taken to Lahey Hospital; at 1:28 p.m. Sunday on Bartholomew Terrace. The person was taken to Lahey Hospital.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 1:32 a.m. Saturday on Columbia Boulevard. Three vehicles were found with damage and were possibly sideswiped; at 8:27 a.m. Saturday at 5 Gallant Road. A caller reported their house was egged.
