Arrests

Henry Castro, of 4 Brightwood Terrace, was arrested on warrant charges of a threat to commit crime and attempted arson of a dwelling house at 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday.

Shubar Charles, of 97 Newhall St., was arrested on a warrant charge of unarmed robbery at 2:45 p.m. on Monday.

Lisa Christie, of 100 Willow St., was arrested on a warrant charge of a larceny from person at 12:14 a.m. on Tuesday.

Sergio Guzman Florencio, 27, of 61 Henry Ave., was arrested and charged with failure to stop or yield and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 6:46 p.m. on Monday.

Complaints

Report of two suspicious motor vehicles blocking the driveway at 6 Kimball Lane on Monday at 4:10 p.m. Caller said a man got out of a Jeep and got into a Honda and has been there for an hour.

Woman called on Monday at 8:02 p.m. to report she has chest pain. Police report she was taken to the hospital.

A burglar alarm sounded at Pottery Barn at MarketStreet on Monday at 10:05 p.m. Officer reports store is secure and all is in order.

Suspicious auto reported on Thistle Lane on Monday at 10:22 p.m. Caller said a vehicle parked on the street is not known to them and there appears to be lots of stuff in the truck. Officer reports car is legally parked, unoccupied, and police were unable to locate the owner in the area.

A caller reported finding a needle on Devereux Terrace at 10:37 a.m. on Monday.

A caller reported receiving a scam IRS phone call on Orchard Street at 1:14 p.m. on Monday; on Oak Street stating the call came from 215-709-1211 at 1:19 p.m. on Monday; at Powder House Court at 1:39 p.m. on Monday; on Ruby Avenue stating the call came from 215-709-1211 at 2 p.m. on Monday; on Waterside Road at 2:17 p.m. on Monday; on Beverly Avenue at 2:32 p.m. on Monday; on Lincoln Avenue at 3:31 p.m. on Monday; on Beach Street at 5:20 p.m. on Monday; on Turner Road at 7:11 p.m. on Monday; on Humphrey Street at 7:28 p.m. on Monday; on Green Street at 5:49 a.m. on Tuesday.

A caller reported at 1:23 p.m. there were two kids playing on the bridge on Lafayette Street and was concerned because the sign said ‘”Do not swim.”

A resident came in and reported that her daughter was being cyber-bullied on a social media app called “Yubo” at 2:10 p.m. on Monday.

A caller, who is away at school in Rhode Island, reported at 3:23 p.m. on Monday that he asked his friend if he could store his canoe and there was a verbal agreement about the friend being able to use it while he was away. The caller went on the Internet and saw his friend selling his canoe and was seeking advice on how to handle the situation, as he does not want his canoe to be sold.

A caller reported at 4:57 p.m. on Monday that their at-home health aid was stealing from their residence.

A caller reported at 6:10 p.m. on Monday that he let his friend borrow a canoe and now he wants it back. The friend stated if he tries to get it he will be trespassed. Responding officers talked to the friend who then stated the caller could have it back but it was at his girlfriend’s house.

A caller reported two males throwing rocks through the upstairs and downstairs windows on Elm Street at 11:56 p.m. on Monday. The caller stated he chased them down the street but was not able to catch them and they fled the scene.

PEABODY

Summons

Vana Lima, 46, of 66 Tremont St., was issued a summons to appear in court charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on Monday at 5:10 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Johnson Street.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash on Monday at 5:43 p.m. in the Northshore Mall. Officer assisted with paperwork exchange. One motor vehicle was towed by a private company.

A four-car crash was reported on Tuesday at 8:48 a.m. at 584 Lowell St. No injuries. One motor vehicle towed by Four Star Towing Service.

Complaints

A report of a vehicle window smashed on Monday at 3:48 p.m. at 24A Shore Road and items were stolen. Officer to document.

Medical emergency reported on Monday at 4 p.m. at Logan Express at 164 Newbury St. Report of party in a car in the breakdown lane not feeling well. Police report they were gone upon arrival.

Loud music reported on Pulaski Street on Monday at 4:24 p.m. Officer reports music has been turned down.

A verbal dispute was reported on Monday at 4:56 p.m. at 63 Pierpont St., Apt. 1. Officer reports parties left without incident.

Caller reported a gathering in the parking lot behind his home at 16 Paleologos St. on Monday at 10:43 p.m. The attendees have plugged an extension cord into his house and are using it to power their music. Officers followed the extension cord several hundred feet away to a vacant trailer in the parking lot off Webster Street. Cord was disconnected.

Caller from Workout World at 216 Newbury St. reported he saw a rat in the workout room on Monday at 10:54 p.m. Caller was advised to contact the gym’s management.

Report of a suspicious 2014 Pontiac with two different license plates on Tuesday at 8:42 a.m. at 33 Lynnfield St. Police report vehicle was towed by Mallia’s Towing.

Report of parties making threats at the TD Bank on Main Street on Tuesday at 10:34 a.m. Officer reports there was a payment dispute between two parties and they were told not to return.

Unregistered motor vehicle with Massachusetts plate 29TG72 in the front yard of 48 Aberdeen Ave. on Tuesday at 11:09 a.m. Officer reports the 2000 Ford pickup’s plates had been canceled. A 15-day removal sticker was placed on the truck.

Vanessa M. Forte, 31, of 374 Chatham St., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested on warrant charges.

Daniel J. Cote, 29, of 25 Washington St., Apt. 2, was arrested and charged with four counts of distributing a Class B drug.

Stefan O. Miller, 42, of 91 Hulfst Road, Amherst, was arrested and charged with second offense of operating under the influence of liquor and resisting arrest.

George Leo Goodwin Jr., 23, of 38 Waban St., was arrested on warrant charges of possession of a Class E drug, breaking and entering into a building during the night time for a felony, possession of a burglarious instrument.

A report of youths playing basketball at the Bristow Street Playground at 11:52 p.m. Friday.

A report of two males busting open a safe with a crowbar at Lowe’s on Broadway at 12:26 p.m. Saturday.

A report of damage done to a vehicle on at 74 Western Ave. by a BB gun at 1:36 p.m. Saturday.

A 90-year-old caller reported the power went out in half of her house on Sherwood Forest Lane and the air conditioning was no longer working at 2:37 a.m. Sunday.

A caller reported a disturbance she had with another middle-aged female in the parking lot of the Square One Mall at 3:44 p.m. in which the other woman threw water at her.

A report of a group of youths gathering on the upper deck of the parking structure at the Square One Mall at 1201 Broadway at 12:22 a.m. Monday.

A caller reported her elderly mother told her there was a suspicious male running though her yard on Carr Road at 8:28 a.m. Monday.

A report of an overgrown tree that blocks the view of oncoming traffic at 11:13 p.m. Monday.

A report of a group of boys on bicycles riding in the center of the roadway blocking both travel lanes at Central and Main streets at 1:42 p.m. Monday.

A caller reported she was walking her dog on Clifton Avenue when another dog attacked her and the dog at 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Theft

A caller reported a man took his plumbing supplies, which were behind Modell’s Sporting Goods on Broadway at 11:55 a.m. Friday. The tools were valued at more than $7,500.

A report of an unarmed robbery at Five Guys Burgers & Fries on Main Street at 9:14 p.m. Friday.

A report of two vehicles broken into overnight at 19 First St. at 4:55 p.m. Friday.

A customer was detained at Trader Joe’s on Broadway at 9:48 a.m. for shoplifting a large amount of meat.

A report of shoplifting at Home Depot on Broadway at 3:01 p.m. Monday.

Jennifer McKinley, 41, was arrested on a warrant charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 1:13 p.m. on Monday.
