PEABODY — Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a suspect matching the description of a man accused of breaking and entering.
Peabody police said they attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Kenneth Corliss, 38, on Monday near Lynn and Bartholomew streets. But police report he fled from the yard at 147 Lynn St. when he saw the officers and was last seen behind 8 Aberdeen Ave.
He is described as being muscular, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 225 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, facial hair, and tattoos on each arm and his right hand. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and gray shorts.
On Monday night, police received a call about a man running through the Subway restaurant parking lot on Summit Street. Officers checked the location but couldn’t locate him.
Police also checked 64 Lowell St. on Monday afternoon, where Corliss visited a child and left.
Officers say Corliss may be homeless and could be living in Lynn.
Peabody issued an automated call to residents about the suspect.
